Tell us an anecdote from your recent or past experiences. Was it funny, embarrassing, or sad? Tell us about that moment.

Well, it seems I forget my anecdotes when someone asks me to tell them. I can say that I got my new job thanks to a friend. I hadn't seen her in a while, and one day she told me she was working in a store. I went to visit her, and we talked a lot. She was one of the first and only friends I made in this country because I really struggle to make friends, and she's one of the best. Anyway, one day, jokingly, I told her that if a daytime position opened up at her job, she should apply for me. The thing is, a position did open up, but she didn't have time to apply for me. We talked about it, and I told her that I really needed an extra job because the one I have isn't enough, and they keep cutting back on the number of events. She said that maybe I could do something. After that, they called me for an interview, I submitted my resume, and here I am. Although the story was actually a bit more embarrassing because I told her some personal things; I got it off my chest a little. Thanks to her, I'm a little calmer.

Cuéntanos alguna anécdota de tus experiencias recientes o pasadas. ¿Fue divertido, vergonzoso, o triste? Cuéntanos sobre ese momento.

Bueno, parece que se me olvidan mis anécdotas cuando alguien me pide contarlas. Puedo decir qué, el trabajo nuevo que tengo lo conseguí gracias a una amiga, tenía tiempo sin verla y un día me dijo que estaba trabajando en una tienda, fui a visitarla y hablamos un montón, fue una de las primeras y únicas amigas que hice en este país porque realmente me cuesta hacer amigas y ella es una que vale la pena… La cosa es que un día entre bromas le dije que si se abría una vacante en su trabajo para el puesto de día, me postulara a mi. La cosa es que sí se abrió una vacante pero no le dió tiempo de postularme, hablamos sobre eso, le conté que justamente sí estoy necesitando un trabajo extra porque el que tengo no me está alcanzando y cada vez como que reducían el número de eventos, ella me dijo que quizás podía hacer algo. Después de eso me llamaron a una entrevista, presenté mi CV y aquí estoy. Aunque realmente la historia fue un poco más vergonzosa porque le conté algunas cosas personas, me desahogué un poco. Gracias a ella, estoy un poco más tranquila.
