Phone Photography Contest 81 | The Best Way

The best way to deal with a Monday that you know will be intense is to remember the recent moments that brought you peace, and these photographs I'm sharing with you today are from a wonderful, sublime, and beautiful day. Here, dawn has barely broken, and I'm preparing to start a new week. It will be intense, but at the same time, it will be beautiful. With these photographs, I also officially enter Hive's Phone Photography Contest, and I'm happy to do so because I haven't participated in a couple of weeks. But I'm sure these images will please all of you visiting me today.

La mejor manera de lidiar con un Lunes que sabes que será intenso es recordar los últimos momentos que te transmitieron paz, y estas fotografías que les comparto hoy son de un día maravilloso, sublime y hermoso. Aquí a penas acaba de amanecer y me estoy preparando para iniciar una nueva semana, será intensa, pero a la vez será hermosa. Con estas fotografías también hago mi entrada oficial al Phone Photography Contest de Hive, y me hace feliz hacerlo porque tenía un par de semanas sin participar, pero estoy seguro que estas imágenes serán del agrado de todos ustedes que me visitan hoy.

I took these photographs during a visit to Simón Bolívar Park, in eastern Caracas. They were taken precisely in the last moments before sunset, so you can appreciate how the sun's rays project from the clouds, or the sun itself, shining through the branches of a tree, creating contrasts between light and shadow. Flowers played an important role that day, as they were everywhere, but this time I wanted to focus on sharing a glimpse of what so many small white blossoms look like on the green grass. It literally made you want to lie down on them and gaze up at the sky, but no, I've learned to appreciate them without invading the natural space of things.

Tome estas fotografías en una visita al Parque Simón Bolívar, en el este de Caracas. Son precisamente de los últimos momentos antes del atardecer, así que pueden apreciar como se ven los rayos del sol que se proyectan desde las nubes, o el mismo solo bajo las ramas de un árbol haciendo contrastes entre luces y sombras. Las flores jugaron un papel importante ese día, porque estaban por todas partes, pero en esta ocasión quería enfocarme en compartirles un poco de como se ven tantas pequeñas florecillas blancas sobre el césped verde. Literalmente provocaba acostarse sobre ellas y ver el cielo, pero no, he aprendido a apreciar sin invadir el espacio natural de las cosas.

The only photograph that evokes a bit of nostalgia is that blue bench, dirty, broken, bent, and therefore abandoned. It's not even that special of a photo compared to the others, but I connected with that scene and wanted to share it as one of my favorites from that day. Anyway, all these images are random, but they represent a special day. I say goodbye to these kids who were enjoying the whole environment at the top of a very high branch. La única fotografía que me transmite algo de nostalgia es ese banco azul, sucio, roto, doblado y por ende abandonado, ni siquiera es una foto tan especial en comparación a las demás, pero conecté con esa escena y quise compartirla como mis preferidas de ese día. En fin, todas estas imágenes son al azar, pero representan un día especial. Me despido con estos chicos que estaban disfrutando de todo el entorno en la cima de una rama muy alta.
