Splinterlands art contest Week 345

Hello Hive! I’m Excited to Join This Creative Community!

Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share another one of my mixed-media creations with you! This vibrant little forest fairy was made using a fun mix of clay, watercolor, and colored pencils. Combining these materials always brings its own set of challenges—but that’s what makes the process so exciting!

I had an amazing time crafting all the tiny details, from the leafy outfit to the bold wings and expressive face. Every time I experiment like this, I discover new techniques and grow a little more as an artist.

I'd love to hear your thoughts—your feedback truly inspires me to keep going and keep exploring. Thanks so much for taking the time to check it out!

For my last art contest post on Hive, I’m happy and excited to share my art featuring the character 'Bramble Pixie' for the Splinterlands community. Working with color pencil, water color and clay has always been a passion of mine, as it gives me the chance to turn imagination into reality. I had a lot of fun creating this piece, and I’m happy to present it to you. Here’s a picture of my art creation:

About My Artwork

Bramble Pixie

Mischievous and violent creatures, bramble pixies live in abundance on the forest realm of Folia, where they spend their time tormenting woodland creatures, laying traps, and making a general nuisance of themselves. They have a nasty penchant for wrapping the deadly hedge-scoke bramble around their blades. The sap of this bramble is known to enhance emotion—particularly anger—and the bramble pixie is prone to striking at their foes in a deadly rage, stabbing the life out of them.

When the Riftwatchers visited Folia, some of these pixies stowed away in their packs. During the journey through the rifts to Praetoria something happened to their wings and when they arrived they were unable to fly; however, you can always hear the angry buzz of their wings when they attack. While they've learned to avoid contact with the hedge-scoke bramble's sap, the bramble pixies haven't lost their mischievous streak, which can be a painful annoyance to their Riftwatcher allies.
