Cars, commercial stands, attractions for everyone, food, drinks, and sports. All of this could be found last weekend in the parking lot of the Arena Plaza shopping center in Barquisimeto, where the fifth edition of DX Off Road Venezuela was held.

Saturday and Sunday. A whole weekend, from 12 noon to midnight. I was able to attend both days, although on Saturday, when I arrived, it rained a little. This prevented me from taking photos that day, as I had to leave early. When the rain stopped, it was time to leave.

But on Sunday, I arrived earlier and the weather was nice, so on that second day I was able to enjoy all the activities more and take various photos to bring you this post.

Autos, puestos comerciales, atracciones para todos, comida, bebidas y deportes. Todo esto se pudo encontrar el fin de semana pasado en el estacionamiento del centro comercial Arena Plaza en Barquisimeto, donde se celebró la quinta edición de DX Off Road Venezuela.

Sábado y domingo. Todo un fin de semana, de 12 del mediodía a medianoche. Pude asistir ambos días, aunque el sábado, cuando llegué, llovió un poco. Esto me impidió tomar fotos ese día, ya que tuve que irme temprano. Cuando paró la lluvia, era hora de irme.

Pero el domingo llegué antes y el clima estuvo agradable, así que ese segundo día pude disfrutar más de todas las actividades y tomar diversas fotos para traerles esta publicación.

This year, one of the new attractions was the Centaur Challenge, for which participants had to register. Participants were organized into teams and had to overcome different challenges in an open, air-conditioned space, all under the supervision of a strict jury that would determine the winners.

The bicycle race also took place, as in every edition. I couldn't take photos of the start because it was raining a little and I couldn't get to the starting point. Furthermore, my cell phone isn't waterproof, so it could be damaged.

The brands participating in this edition set up their stands and prepared in the afternoon to welcome attendees. Most were companies dedicated to the automotive sector, but I also saw companies from the internet and other sectors.

Este año, una de las nuevas atracciones fue el Desafío Centauro, para el cual los participantes debían inscribirse. Los participantes se organizaron en equipos y tuvieron que superar diferentes desafíos en un espacio abierto y acondicionado, todo bajo la supervisión de un estricto jurado que determinaría a los ganadores.

La carrera ciclista también se celebró, como en cada edición. No pude tomar fotos de la salida porque llovía un poco y me fue imposible llegar al punto de partida. Además, mi teléfono móvil no es resistente al agua, por lo que podría dañarse.

Las marcas participantes en esta edición instalaron sus stands y se prepararon por la tarde para recibir a los asistentes. La mayoría eran empresas dedicadas al sector automotriz, pero también vi empresas de internet y otros sectores.

There was a 4x4 vehicle exhibition. It's one of those attractions that draws a crowd. There were also car dealerships with their latest models. JAC offered some of the most affordable models. The cheapest cost $17,000 and offered financing plans.

Food stands were located near the central platform. There was a variety and different prices, tailored to the consumer's budget. Beer was also sold, the most famous brand in the country: Polar.

Había una exhibición de vehículos 4x4. Es una de esas atracciones que llaman público. También había concesionarios de autos con sus últimos modelos. La marca JAC era la que ofrecía algunos de los modelos más asequibles. El más barato costaba $17,000 y ofrecía planes de financiamiento.

Los puestos de comida estaban cerca del andén central. Había variedad y diferentes precios, adaptados al presupuesto del consumidor. También se vendía cerveza, la marca más famosa del país: Polar.

I also went on Sunday so I could get better photos for the post. Sunday's weather was better, and I arrived earlier, as the sun was scorching, but I also had to take advantage of the daylight to get some good photos.

It was a pretty busy weekend, with several events, and this was one of them. I enjoyed this fifth edition of DX Off Road, and the organizers are probably already planning next year's event, as well as the Comic Expo, since they're the ones organizing it.

También fui el domingo para poder sacar mejores fotos para la publicación. El domingo hacía mejor tiempo y llegué antes, ya que el sol era abrasador, pero también tuve que aprovechar la luz del día para sacar buenas fotos.

Fue un fin de semana bastante ajetreado, con varios eventos, y este fue uno de ellos. Me gustó esta quinta edición de DX Off Road, y los organizadores probablemente ya estén planeando el evento del año que viene, así como la Expo Comic, ya que son ellos quienes la organizan.

Es increible todo lo que puede verse y experimentar en ese evento. La parte donde muestras fotos de algunas personas cantando y mencionas los días que pasaron, me hizo pensar que el evento es como un Lollapalooza jasjaja😅
