Star Models Final Gala

The long-awaited final ceremony of the contest has arrived.

Friday the 14th was the date set for the final event to crown the new Lara Star Models. After months of preparation and activities, the final moment arrived, in which all the participants would be evaluated by a jury previously selected by the organizers, who, with the sum of all the scores accumulated in the different activities over the last three months, determined the winners of the different bands and categories of the contest.

The event took place in the State Government Auditorium. The problem with this venue is that it is very difficult to take photos with low-end cell phones due to the lighting used in most of the events held there. They place very powerful lights directly on the stage, without diffusers, which causes many photos to come out with overexposed skin. This is especially true when the person is standing directly under that direct light.

El viernes 14 fue la fecha fijada para el evento final de coronación de las nuevas Lara Star Models. Tras meses de preparación y actividades, llegó el momento final, en el que todas las participantes serían evaluadas por un jurado previamente seleccionado por los organizadores, que, con la suma de todas las puntuaciones acumuladas en las diferentes actividades de los últimos tres meses, dio como resultado las ganadoras de las diferentes bandas y categorías del concurso.

El evento tuvo lugar en el Auditorio del Gobierno del Estado. El problema de este espacio es que es muy difícil tomar fotos con teléfonos móviles de gama baja debido a la iluminación que se utiliza en la mayoría de los eventos que se celebran allí. Colocan luces muy potentes directamente sobre el escenario, sin difusores, lo que hace que muchas fotos salgan con la piel sobreexpuesta. Esto es especialmente cierto cuando la persona está de pie directamente bajo esa luz directa.

The start time was delayed a little, and outside, a space was set up for taking photos when everything was over. It was a chair with very pretty decorations. The jury was made up of various personalities from the city's fashion world and the current queen of the girls, another of the contests also produced by the organizers.

It began with the usual opening, with the young people who are part of the dance academy, accompanied by the contestants and last year's winners. Everyone danced to the rhythm of the music, smiling and excited to kick off this year's final.

La hora de inicio se retrasó un poco y, en el exterior, se habilitó un espacio para hacerse fotos cuando todo hubiera terminado. Se trataba de una silla con una decoración muy bonita. El jurado estaba compuesto por diversas personalidades del mundo de la moda de la ciudad y la actual reina de las chicas, otro de los concursos que también producen los organizadores.

Comenzó con la apertura habitual, con los jóvenes que forman parte de la academia de baile, acompañados por los concursantes y los ganadores del año pasado. Todos bailaban al ritmo de la música, sonrientes y emocionados por dar inicio a la final de este año.

There were very national performances, with traditional music from the region and the country, something that has characterized this contest, with many performances extolling national pride. There was a guest dance academy and even a young singer of Creole music, who entertained the audience during each segment to give the contestants time to change costumes.

Hubo actuaciones muy nacionales, con música típica de la región y del país, algo que ha caracterizado a este concurso, con muchas actuaciones que ensalzaban el orgullo nacional. Hubo una academia de baile invitada e incluso un joven cantante de música criolla, que entretuvo al público durante cada segmento para dar tiempo a los concursantes a cambiarse de vestuario.

The first part of the show consisted of the presentation of each of the contestants, who wore one-piece swimsuits and paraded before the audience on stage. The cheering sections supported their favorites by shouting their names, with family members being the most excited at this type of event. This was followed by the fantasy swimsuit parade, in which the contestants showed off their creativity in the design of their fantasy costumes.

Then came the evening gown parade, accompanied by appropriate music, in which each contestant walked down the runway wearing dresses by different designers. All the dresses were very beautiful. I really liked it, as they walked down the runway flawlessly.

After that came the question and answer session, followed by the wait for the results to be tallied. Since everything started late, I couldn't stay until the end, so I missed the last part. I had to leave, but later I checked social media to see who the winner was and all the others who won a sash or a crown, and they really deserved it. Everything was excellent.

La primera parte del espectáculo consistió en la presentación de cada una de las concursantes, que lucieron trajes de baño de una pieza y desfilaron ante el público en el escenario. Las secciones de animación apoyaron a sus favoritas gritando sus nombres, siendo los familiares los más emocionados en este tipo de eventos. A continuación tuvo lugar el desfile de trajes de baño de fantasía, en el que las candidatas mostraron su creatividad en el diseño de sus trajes de fantasía.

Luego vino el desfile de vestidos de gala, acompañado de música apropiada, en el que cada una desfiló por la pasarela, luciendo trajes de diferentes diseñadores. Todos los trajes eran muy bonitos. Me gustó mucho, ya que desfilaron por la pasarela de forma impecable.

Después vino la sesión de preguntas y respuestas, seguida de la espera para que se contabilizaran los resultados. Como todo empezó tarde, no pude quedarme hasta el final, así que me perdí la última parte. Tuve que irme, pero más tarde consulté las redes sociales para ver quién era la ganadora y todas las demás que ganaron una banda o una corona, y realmente se lo merecían. Todo fue excelente.
