Sunday was Cosplay Day at the Crepuscular Shopping Center. This is where the Matsucon guys hold most of their events.
It was two events in one. Everything was scheduled for May 25, but it coincided with regional elections in the country, so it had to be postponed and a new date found. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long, as Matsucon quickly announced that the long-awaited Cosplay Meetup would take place on Sunday, June 1, in addition to the Maid Cafe.
Not even the rain could stop it from happening. From early in the morning, a pesky rain began to fall on the city. This forced the start of activities to be delayed a bit, as both the organizers and the cosplayers who were going to be there hoped the rain would let up a little so they could move to the mall.
El domingo fue el Día del Cosplay en el Centro Comercial Crepuscular. Aquí es donde los chicos de Matsucon celebran la mayoría de sus eventos.
Eran dos eventos en uno. Todo estaba programado para el 25 de mayo, pero coincidió con las elecciones regionales en el país, por lo que tuvo que posponerse y buscarse una nueva fecha. Afortunadamente, no tuvimos que esperar mucho, ya que Matsucon anunció rápidamente que el tan esperado Encuentro de Cosplay tendría lugar el domingo 1 de junio, además del Maid Cafe.
Ni siquiera la lluvia pudo impedir que se celebrara. Desde primera hora de la mañana, una molesta lluvia comenzó a caer sobre la ciudad. Esto obligó a retrasar un poco el inicio de las actividades, ya que tanto los organizadores como los cosplayers que iban a estar allí esperaban que la lluvia amainara un poco para poder trasladarse al centro comercial.

The event was very well attended, with many cosplayers, families, and both well-known figures within the cosplay community and new cosplayers who had just started out. It was impossible for me to take photos of all the cosplayers, as there were so many people, and there was another event taking place on the fourth floor of the shopping center that I had to attend. However, as soon as I finished there, I immediately went downstairs to enjoy the cosplay gathering.
On the first floor, where Matsucon's headquarters are located, the Maid Cafe activity took place. It served as a prelude to the cosplay gathering and parade. In that area, participants took photos, chatted, shared, and Matsucon sold snacks, coffee, milkshakes, etc., all served by its Maids staff, dressed in their respective costumes for the occasion.
El evento contó con una gran asistencia, con muchos cosplayers, familias y tanto figuras conocidas dentro de la comunidad cosplay como nuevos cosplayers que acababan de empezar. Me fue imposible hacer fotos de todos los cosplayers, ya que había mucha gente, ademas que en la cuarta planta del centro comercial se estaba celebrando otro evento al que tenía que asistir. Sin embargo, en cuanto terminé allí, bajé inmediatamente para disfrutar de la reunión de cosplay.
En la primera planta, donde se encuentra la sede de Matsucon, tuvo lugar la actividad del Maid Cafe. Sirvió como preludio de lo que sería la reunión de cosplay y el desfile. En esa zona, los participantes se hicieron fotos, charlaron, compartieron y Matsucon vendió aperitivos, café, batidos, etc., todo ello servido por su personal de Maids, vestidas con sus respectivos trajes para la ocasión.

The Matsucon store is open every weekend. It closes during the week, but opens on weekends for those who need to buy their products. On social media, they always have promotions for costumes, wigs, and collectible figures.
The Cosplay Gathering took place in the central plaza of the shopping center. That's where the largest number of people gathered in the afternoon. Before that, there was a Boy Scouts event. Those who were at the shopping center doing other things stayed to enjoy the show. The cosplayers showed off their costumes and took lots of photos while waiting for Rebiday, one of the organizers, to call them to start the parade.
La tienda Matsucon está abierta todos los fines de semana. Cierra entre semana, pero abre los fines de semana para quienes necesitan comprar sus productos. En las redes sociales, siempre tienen promociones de disfraces, pelucas y figuras coleccionables.
El Encuentro Cosplay tuvo lugar en la plaza central del centro comercial. Allí es donde se reunió el mayor número de personas por la tarde. Antes hubo un evento de los Boy Scouts. Los que estaban en el centro comercial haciendo otras cosas se quedaron para disfrutar del espectáculo. Los cosplayers lucieron sus trajes y se hicieron muchas fotos mientras esperaban a que Rebiday, una de las organizadoras, los llamara para comenzar el desfile.

Approximately 40 cosplayers participated in the Cosplay Parade. Rebiday introduced each one and the character they were portraying. Each one performed a brief act that was evaluated by the jury.
There were also participants in the children's category, which was won by the boy dressed as Deadpool. The sponsors also awarded prizes to Batman, from Barquisimeto, and Yirka López, who was dressed as Pison IVy, as well as the boy accompanying Batman.
There was one overall winner of the cosplay parade, who received a golden pass to enter all future Matsucons completely free of charge. Their cosplay stood out the most, and their victory was well deserved.
At six o'clock in the afternoon, it was all over. I thought it was an excellent event, and everyone had a great time.

Aproximadamente 40 cosplayers participaron en el Desfile de Cosplay. Rebiday presentaba a cada uno y al personaje que interpretaba. Cada uno realizó una breve actuación que fue evaluada por el jurado.
También hubo participantes en la categoría infantil, que ganó el niño de Deadpool. Los patrocinadores también entregaron premios a Batman, de Barquisimeto, y a Yirka López, que iba de Pison IVy, así como al niño que acompañaba a Batman.
Hubo un ganador definitivo del desfile de cosplay, que recibió un pase dorado para entrar en todas las futuras Matsucons de forma totalmente gratuita. Su cosplay fue el que más destacó y su victoria fue bien merecida.
A las seis de la tarde, todo había terminado. Me pareció un evento excelente y todo el mundo se lo pasó muy bien.

La verdad esta vez no se cual elegir pero creo que a hiedra venenosa... esta cerca de Batman!! jajaja pero me gusta el maquillaje de la chica vestida de azul. Ponen mucho empeño en los trajes y disfrutan mucho de cada evento. Yo sería Gatúbela mil veces, me encanta, con máscara por supuesto🤣

Posion Ivy con Batman , quedo bien la foto. Ella hace diferentes cosplayer, ella es quien estuvo en el evento pasado de Rosident Evil, que no se le veía el rostro. El es el Batman de Barquisimeto, tiene una fundación para ayudar a niños pacientes del oncológico.
