Georgetown Brewing Bodhizafa India Pale Ale

This IPA has the features I usually dislike, and yet...

But first, the facts. Lots of info is available from the brewery.

Malts - 2 Row Pale, Munich
Hops - Chinook, Citra, Mosaic, Columbus
Yeast - English Ale
OG - 1.061
TG - 1.008
ABV - 6.9%

What I don't know is the IBU, but this is a relatively dry and bitter brew. There is a strong citrusy hops scent on opening the can, and the flavor is definitely dominated by the hops rather than the malt. I usually don't like distinctly hoppy brews, but this somehow works.

I'm not drunk enough to find Marx appealing. Expect another entry in the intermittent read-along through Capital series eventually though.

I shouldn't have read this but now I need to have a break from packing boxes and have a beer.

Haha, cheers. If it's dry and bitter then probably have a high IBU. 🍺 😎

Yeah, but how high is hard to guesstimate. I don't think it was anywhere near the 80 IBU brew I had ages ago, but even there, I could be wrong.
