The Veteran | Night Photography.

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Night Photography showing and talking about Night Photography in RDR 2 with a special side quest.

An old outdoors man and war veteran was thrown from his horse and was unable to get the horse back as he had a single leg. He even lost his prosthetic leg attached to the horse. I decided to recover both the horse and the leg for him.

I was riding in the dark and suddenly heard someone screaming and calling for help. When I reached the stranger, he said his horse got spooked and ran off taking his prosthetic leg.

The old man pointed me towards his horse and I noticed it eating grass by a lake not far from the spot. At first I made sure the horse was alone and when I used the binocular, I noticed the prosthetic leg attached to the horse as well.

Leaving my horse behind, I started crouching towards the horse silently, carrying the lasso. And I tied the horses neck with the lasso right after I reached close to it.

The name of the horse was Buell or maybe Buell is hid kind. I thought he'd try to run away and I'd have to chase him but no, he stood on its ground though he was scared till I calmed him down.

I had to calm and lead Buell to its owner but it looked like he didn't want to be calmed or maybe he didn't want to go back. I tried my level best to calm him down while trying some cool night photographs as well.

And at last he was calmed and let me lead him. Though I thought I'd have an option to ride him but no, I could only lead him to his owner pulling the rope so I started doing it.

When I was leading Buell to his owner, my horse Rick was also following us and when we reached the old man, he was glad and told me his name which was Hamish Sinclair.

Arthur gave Hamish his prosthetic leg first and the old man attached it to his injured leg. Before leaving, Hamish said he lost his leg in a war and he invited Arthur to his cabin that was right over on the other side of O'Creaghs Run there.

Hamish invited Arthur to do some fishing together and he left us behind after that. I'm not sure but I may get to his cabin someday to do some fishing.
