A Cinematic Fishing - (Entry to Cinematic Shots).
Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Cinematic Shots showing and talking about Cinematic Shots in RDR 2.
Note: Most of the photos are taken from the in-game photo mode. I later added the cinematic black bars on all of them to give them cinematic feel for the contest.
Hamish invited me to go fishing with him at his cabin near O'Creaghs Run and when I went to him for the fishing, we tried an epic battle with a giant northern pile known as The Great Tyrant.
I rode to the spot and noticed the horse of Hamish hitched outside. I really liked this place where his cabin was at. I wish I could spend some days at such places in real life.
I had to reach Hamish through the back door as the front door was locked, though the back door was also locked but when I reached there, Arthur opened up the door in cinematic mode and Hamish said Arthur doesn't need much persuading to get him to fishing.
Hamish suggested we'd row his boat and do some fishing and when Arthur asked what they were fishing for, Hamish said its The Great Tyrant and gave Arthur his hand-made bait.
I had to row the boat to the fishing spot and when I was doing it, I was enjoying the beautiful views around.
After reaching the fishing spot, Hamish asked me to cast off towards the island and after doing that, both of us were waiting for the fish to take the bait.
You know I'm bad at fishing in real life and in this virtual life as well. But Hamish caught something that pulled him off the boat so I was thinking it might be a crocodile or something.
Then I noticed Hamish was pulled a little away from the boat so I had to row to him and then I pulled him on the boat.
Now I had to row to another fishing spot and then Hamish asked me to cast away my fishing rod towards the spot where we were before, and yeah, Hamish lost his rod.
When I was casting the rod towards the spot this time, The Great Tyrant was taking the bait and I was trying hard to pull it off but I was losing it.
I lost the fish 3-4 times after struggling for some time with it so I planned to cast the rope of the rod close to the boat and the plan worked as the fish came to us to take the bait.
As soon as the fish took the bait, I started reeling and when the fish came close to the boat, Hamish first hit it with his handgun and then pulled it on the boat and hit it to death.
Arthur rowed the boat towards the cabin in cinematic and then Hamish took the fish as Arthur didn't want it. Hamish thanked Arthur for the fish and said he'd be available for a hunt next.
I just left the cabin after finishing the quest.
Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
