1️⃣ ¿Cuál es el mejor consejo que has recibido de una mujer fuerte? Describe un personaje femenino fuerte que te haya inspirado o te inspire.

2️⃣ Escribe sobre una ocasión en la que superaste tus dudas.

Your weekly contest is very interesting for the questions you ask, and I'm back here to participate faithfully with you every week. This week it's LOH Contest #260. The questions were created by @merit.ahama and read as follows:

1️⃣ What's the best advice you've ever received from a strong woman? Describe a strong female character who inspired or inspires you.

2️⃣ Write about a time when you overcame self-doubt.

  Si bien saben que soy fan del mundo Otaku y que me ha inspirado desde que lo conocí, no fue una mujer fuerte, sino un personaje ficticio de mi serie favorita de todos los tiempos: Demon Slayer. Su nombre ya lo he mencionado muchas veces en varios de mis posts. Kyojuro Rengoku, el pilar del fuego, un hombre único e inigualable, es quien me ha inspirado a seguir adelante ante mis adversidades.

  While you know I'm a fan of the otaku world and have been inspired ever since I discovered it, it wasn't a strong woman, but rather a fictional character from my all-time favorite series: Demon Slayer. I've mentioned his name many times in several of my posts. Kyojuro Rengoku, the pillar of fire, a unique and unparalleled man, is the one who has inspired me to keep going despite my adversities.

  ¿Cómo no inspirarme? Si su frase de Mantén tu corazón ardiendo lo uso como lema de vida. No es lo que dices, sino cómo lo dices, y también influye mucho el "cuándo" lo dices. Este personaje me ha levantado del suelo muchas veces y su muerte en el anime dejó una gran marca en mis memorias.

  How could I not be inspired? I use her quote Set your heart Ablaze as my life motto. It's not what you say, but how you say it, and "when" you say it also has a lot to do with it. This character has lifted me off my feet many times, and her death in the anime left a deep mark on my memories.

  Por supuesto que también unas cuantas mujeres me han inspirado a seguir adelante. Entre ellas Louise Hay, Margarita Pasos, Marian Rojas Estapé y no puedo dejar de mencionar a otro hombre que también me inspira mucho, se trata de Yokoi Kenji y Mario Alonso Puig, son tantas las personas que admiro y que me han inspirado.

  Of course, a few women have also inspired me to keep going. Among them Louise Hay, Margarita Pasos, Marian Rojas Estapé and I can't forget to mention another man who also inspires me a lot, these are Yokoi Kenji and Mario Alonso Puig, there are so many people that I admire and who have inspired me.

  En cuanto a describir el momento en el que superé mis dudas. Han sido muchas. He dudado mi vida entera en casi todo lo que hago, pero sobre todo en situaciones realmente importantes para decidirme a hacer algo que sé que causará un alto impacto en mi vida.

  As for describing the moment I overcame my doubts, there have been many. I've doubted almost everything I do throughout my entire life, but especially in critical situations, before deciding to do something I know will have a significant impact on my life.

  Uno de esos momentos fue cuando decidí empezar mi emprendimiento como Asesor Académico y empezar a trabajar desde casa de manera virtual. Y cuando hablo de dudar y decidirme a hacer algo es porque lo que hago es sobre pensar en los pros y contras de cómo sería una cosa si hiciera tal cosa.

  One of those moments was when I decided to start my business as an Academic Advisor and begin working virtually from home. And when I talk about doubting and deciding to do something, it's because what I do is think about the pros and cons of what it would be like if I did that particular thing.

  Y aunque mi trabajo no ha sido como lo imaginé, lo inicié dando traspiés y con mucho miedo, pero superé mi temor y confié en lo que hacía. Actualmente mi emprendimiento no me aporta tanto como quisiera sino esporádicamente, pero me gusta lo que hago y sé que la perseverancia rinde frutos.

  And although my work hasn't been what I imagined, I started off stumbling and with a lot of fear, but I overcame my fear and believed in what I was doing. Currently, my business doesn't bring in as much as I'd like, except sporadically, but I love what I do and know that perseverance pays off.
