El día que fuimos a la Exposición Simón Bolívar

Qué día más emocionante y memorable pasamos en la Exposición Simón Bolívar... Desde que decidimos asistir, sentíamos que sería una aventura familiar y, aunque el camino hacia el evento fue un poco tedioso debido a la cola kilométrica que tuvimos que hacer, todo valió la pena al ver la sonrisa de mi hija.

La verdad es que la espera nos dio tiempo para hablar y reír. A pesar de lo largo que se hizo, estábamos todos muy entusiasmados por lo que íbamos a vivir. Cuando finalmente logramos entrar, la energía del lugar era contagiante. Había tanto por ver y hacer que nuestra pequeña no sabía ni por dónde empezar.

Nos aseguramos de que ella entendiera cada aspecto de la exposición. Queríamos que disfrutara y aprendiera al mismo tiempo. Así que entre juegos y sorpresas, nos involucramos en las diferentes actividades. La primera parada fue la zona dedicada a la historia de Simón Bolívar; allí, los actores interpretaron escenas de su vida de una manera tan divertida que parecía que estábamos en un teatro. La niña estaba fascinada y no podía dejar de hacer preguntas. Verla tan interesada nos llenó de alegría.

Una de las mejores partes del día fue cuando conocimos a un joven artista venezolano que estaba exponiendo su obra de escultura de Simón Bolivar. Nos explicó su proceso creativo y, por supuesto, mi hija no perdió la oportunidad de hacerle algunas preguntas sobre sus esculturas. Era genial ver esa conexión nueva entre un artista y una niña. Después de eso, ella pudo hacer pequeñas esculturas en plastilina. La creatividad fluyó y su cara se iluminó mientras modelaba formas y figuras.

Primero se subió a un barco, que era parte de una instalación interactiva. Allí, con una gran sonrisa, simulaba navegar por los mares de la historia. Luego se topó con la famosa Negra Matea, que también estaba encarnada por un actriz. No podía creerlo... La forma en que interactuaban con ella era mágica. No solo estaba aprendiendo sobre la historia, sino que también estaba inmersa en un mundo de fantasía.

A lo largo del día, saltó, brincó y jugó con muchos niños que también estaban disfrutando de la jornada. Uno de los momentos más divertidos fue cuando le pintaron la carita como una mariposa. Al mirarse en el espejo, su risa fue contagiosa. Hasta nosotros, los adultos, no pudimos resistir la tentación de reírnos y disfrutar del momento.

Por supuesto, después de tantas actividades, llegó el momento de recargar energías. Decidimos comer unos perro calientes que estaban simplemente deliciosos. Mientras disfrutábamos de la comida, compartíamos anécdotas del día, riendo y celebrando cada uno de esos pequeños momentos en familia. En ese instante, me di cuenta de que el amor dentro de nuestra familia es infinito y que días como este son los que realmente fortalecen los lazos entre nosotros.

Finalmente, cuando empezamos a irnos, reflexioné sobre lo que habíamos vivido. La exposición puede haber sido un poco desorganizada, pero trataron de mantener todo entretenido y atractivo para los niños. Me encantó ver cómo se crea un espacio donde aprender y jugar van de la mano, ideal tanto para ellos como para nosotros, los representantes.

Sin duda, fue un día genial y lleno de recuerdos que atesoraremos para siempre. ¡Espero que podamos repetir la experiencia con otra cosa emocionante pronto!

The day we went to the Simon Bolivar Exposition

What an exciting and memorable day we spent at the Simon Bolivar Exposition... Since we decided to attend, we felt it would be a family adventure and, although the way to the event was a bit tedious due to the kilometer-long line we had to wait in, it was all worth it to see my daughter's smile.

The truth is that the wait gave us time to talk and laugh. As long as it was, we were all very excited about what we were about to experience. When we finally made it inside, the energy of the place was contagious. There was so much to see and do that our little girl didn't even know where to begin.

We made sure she understood every aspect of the exhibit. We wanted her to enjoy and learn at the same time. So between games and surprises, we got involved in the different activities. The first stop was the area dedicated to the history of Simón Bolívar; there, the actors interpreted scenes of his life in such a fun way that it seemed like we were in a theater. The little girl was fascinated and could not stop asking questions. Seeing her so interested filled us with joy.

One of the best parts of the day was when we met a young Venezuelan artist who was exhibiting his sculpture of Simon Bolivar. He explained his creative process and, of course, my daughter didn't miss the opportunity to ask him some questions about his sculptures. It was great to see that new connection between an artist and a child. After that, she was able to make small sculptures in plasticine. Creativity flowed and her face lit up as she modeled shapes and figures.

First he boarded a ship, which was part of an interactive installation. There, with a big smile on her face, she pretended to sail the seas of history. Then she bumped into the famous Negra Matea, who was also played by an actress. He couldn't believe it... The way they interacted with her was magical. Not only was she learning about history, but she was also immersed in a fantasy world.

Throughout the day, she jumped, hopped, skipped and played with many children who were also enjoying the day. One of the funniest moments was when her face was painted like a butterfly. As she looked at herself in the mirror, her laughter was contagious. Even we adults could not resist the temptation to laugh and enjoy the moment.

Of course, after so many activities, it was time to recharge our batteries. We decided to eat some hot dogs that were simply delicious. As we enjoyed our meal, we shared anecdotes of the day, laughing and celebrating each of those little moments as a family. In that instant, I realized that the love within our family is infinite and that days like this are the ones that really strengthen the bonds between us.

Finally, as we began to leave, I reflected on what we had experienced. The exhibit may have been a bit disorganized, but they tried to keep everything entertaining and engaging for the kids. I was delighted to see how a space is created where learning and playing go hand in hand, ideal for them as well as for us, the representatives.

It was definitely a great day full of memories that we will treasure forever, and I hope we can repeat the experience with something else exciting soon!
