that is a rock island along the jogasaki coast in shizuoka, japan.

Water can do "magic" :-)
oh yes. and this rock was made from the volcanic flows of the dormant previous entry.
I noticed on the map that Omoro is on the coast. Hot lava can create strange shapes when it comes into contact with water :-)
