Hedgehog | PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 118

Hello, friends!

Some animals, such as hedgehogs, are almost impossible to meet during the day, they sleep in some secluded place. But with the onset of dusk and until dawn they are very active.

I met this hedgehog when I was going to photograph the sunrise on Lake Naroch.

It was pre-dawn twilight and the hedgehog apparently decided to have a good breakfast before his afternoon nap. Last year's foliage and fallen pine needles helped the hedgehog to camouflage itself; in some areas of the ground the hedgehog was practically invisible.

But he was clearly audible; the hedgehog was puffing like a vacuum cleaner, looking for insects.
