If you could travel through time, would you go to the future or the past?

Time travel is undoubtedly a fascinating concept to explore in literature, film, and other forms of imagination. However, I also know that there are theoretical components that support it. Nevertheless, if it were possible in reality, I don't think I'd want to play with it, because there's always the possibility of changing things that shouldn't be changed. Of course, in the case of traveling to the past, many people might be drawn to it in order to correct a mistake or an incorrect decision they've made. That's my personal opinion, because nobody's perfect, and of course there are things we would have liked to have done differently. But I don't think it's worth changing those kinds of things. Even though the past hurts, sometimes it's better to accept what's already happened and focus on the present.

On the other hand, if I had the chance to go to the future, I think curiosity would be piqued in me. The reason is simple: I would like to see my son, because I know I won't be able to be with him for his entire life. I would like to see how he is at a somewhat advanced age. If I have children, perhaps I could see grandchildren or great-grandchildren. That would truly fill me with emotion and anticipation, because currently the future scares me quite a bit. But on the other hand, I dream that he can have a full life and be happy until his last moment, hoping that the positive things in his life outweigh any negative ones.

Si pudieras viajar en el tiempo, ¿irías al futuro o al pasado?

Los viajes en el tiempo sin duda son algo muy interesante para explorar tanto en la literatura como en el cine y otras ramas de la imaginería, sin embargo, también sé que existen sus componentes teóricos que los sustentan, no obstante si fuera posible en la realidad creo que no me gustaría jugar con eso, pues se siempre existe la posibilidad de cambiar cosas que no deberían cambiarse, por supuesto que en el caso de viajar al pasado muchas personas se podrían sentir atraídas para de ese modo enmendar algún error o una decisión incorrecta que hayan hecho, eso por la parte personal pues nadie es perfecto y por supuesto que hay cosas que nos hubiese gustado hacer de otra manera, pero yo creo que no vale la pena cambiar ese tipo de cosas, aunque duela el pasado a veces es mejor resignarse con lo que ya pasó y concentrarse en el presente.

Por otro lado, si tuviera la posibilidad de ir al futuro creo que la curiosidad se despertaría en mi, la razón es simple y esta es que me gustaría ver a mi hijo, porque se que no lo voy a poder acompañar para toda la vida me gustaría poder ver como está a una edad un poco avanzada, si llego a tener descendencia quizá poder ver nietos o bisnietos, eso sí que me llenaría de emoción y expectativa, porque actualmente el futuro me asusta bastante, pero por otro lado sueño con que él pueda tener una vida plena y que sea feliz hasta el último momento, esperando que lo positivo sea mas lo que negativo que pueda tener en su vida.
