¿Eres uno de los que prefiere una casa con o sin jardín? ¿Te gustan las plantas? ¿Qué haces para cuidar de ellos?

Creo que la crianza es un factor determinante en nuestras vidas, dependiendo de las interacciones con otros podemos desarrollar el gusto por las cosas desde temprana edad, en mi casa tanto mi mamá como mi papá disfrutaban de tener plantas en la casa, por un lado mi papá siempre estuvo pendiente de tener plantas medicinales y frutales, mientras que mi mamá ama las plantas ornamentales, tanto así que mis recuerdos están ligados a las plantas, por ejemplo si pienso en una época de mi vida identifico mas o menos el año debido a las plantas que habían en la casa en ese entonces, porque obviamente hay plantas que duran muchos años como hay otras que solo nos acompañaron en ciertos y determinados momentos, también si veo una foto vieja en donde se vea el jardín de mi casa puedo ver la altura de ciertas plantas que allí estaban y saber también a que periodo de tiempo pertenecía, asi que definitivamente me gustan las plantas y si tuviera la opción escogería tener un casa con jardín.

En cuando al cuidado de las plantas hasta ahora no es que me haya encargado de eso, pues como es el pasatiempo de mi mamá ella se encarga de las plantas de la casa, sin embargo, siempre que me necesita he ayudado, bien sea para cambiar la tierra y agregar abono a las plantas que estan en maceta, suministrar agua a todas las plantas y arbustos, también he asistido a mi mamá en la poda de los arbustos más grandes, pero nunca he estado completamente a cargo de todas las responsabilidades que implica tener un jardín con plantas y arbustos o un patio con árboles, no obstante sé que si algún día tengo mi propia casa me gustaría al menos tener un pequeño jardín, no soy muy activa físicamente y no quiero excederme en el tamaño del jardín, pero deseo que al menos sea los suficientemente grande como para sentir que estoy en contacto con la naturaleza, porque aunque soy una persona que no le gusta salir y se siente cómoda en lugares cerrados, no necesariamente me gusta que todo sea de concreto.

Por otro lado, siento gran satisfacción con ver las flores y los colibríes viniendo al jardín todos los días, también disfruto mucho cuando las aves vienen a comer de los arbustos frutales o incluso del árbol de mangos, es muy bello poder ver a loros, palomas, canarios y otros tipos de aves, es la mejor manera de disfrutar de la belleza de las aves al mismo tiempo que de las plantas, también considero que las plantas también nos aportan felicidad a la casa, creo que si tuviera la limitación de vivir en un apartamento igualmente me gustaría tener algunas macetas con plantas en el balcó porque solo así me sentiría bien 😊

Are you one of those who prefers a house with or without a garden? Do you like plants? What do you do to take care of them?

I think upbringing is a determining factor in our lives. Depending on our interactions with others, we can develop a taste for things from an early age. In my house, both my mom and dad enjoyed having plants in the house. On the one hand, my dad was always keen to have medicinal and fruit plants, while my mom loves ornamental plants. So much so that my memories are linked to plants. For example, if I think about a time in my life, I can roughly identify the year based on the plants that were in the house at the time. Obviously, there are plants that last for many years, while there are others that only accompanied us at certain times. Also, if I see an old photo of my garden, I can see the height of certain plants that were there and also know what time period it belonged to. So, I definitely like plants, and if I had the choice, I would choose to have a house with a garden.

As for plant care, I haven't really taken on that role yet. Since it's my mom's hobby, she takes care of the houseplants. However, whenever she needs me, I've helped, whether it's changing the soil and adding fertilizer to the potted plants, or providing water to all the plants and shrubs. I've also assisted my mom in pruning the larger shrubs. However, I've never been fully in charge of all the responsibilities that come with having a garden with plants and shrubs or a yard with trees. However, I know that if I ever have my own house, I'd like to have at least a small garden. I'm not very physically active, and I don't want to go overboard with the size of the garden. However, I do want it to be at least big enough to feel like I'm in touch with nature. Although I'm a person who doesn't like to go outside and feels comfortable in enclosed spaces, I don't necessarily like everything to be made of concrete.

On the other hand, I feel great satisfaction seeing the flowers and hummingbirds coming to the garden every day, I also really enjoy when the birds come to eat from the fruit bushes or even the mango tree, it is very beautiful to be able to see parrots, pigeons, canaries and other types of birds, it is the best way to enjoy the beauty of the birds at the same time as the plants, I also consider that plants also bring happiness to the house, I think that if I had the limitation of living in an apartment I would still like to have some pots with plants on the balcony because only then would I feel good 😊
