Hello, friends! Greetings to all. Today, I am pleased to share my entry in the community's August contest, showing how to make a super moisturizing and shiny lip balm at home with just three ingredients.

¡Hola amigos! Un saludo para todos. Hoy me complace compartir mi participación en el concurso de agosto de la comunidad, mostrando cómo elaborar en casa un bálsamo labial súper hidratante y con mucho brillo con sólo tres ingredientes.

To make it, you will need:

• 2 teaspoons of dried hibiscus flowers
• 1 tablespoon of grated beeswax
• 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
• A small container

Para su elaboración se necesitan:

• 2 cucharaditas de flores de jamaica secas
• 1 cucharada de cera de abejas rallada
• 1 cucharada de aceite de coco
• Un recipiente pequeño

Preparation / Preparación
1- Grind the dried hibiscus flowers into a very fine powder.

1- Triturar las flores de jamaica secas hasta obtener un polvo muy fino.

2- Melt the beeswax together with the coconut oil in a double boiler.

2- En baño María derretir la cera de abejas junto con el aceite de coco.

3- When the wax is completely dissolved, add the hibiscus flower powder and mix well until the color is evenly distributed.

3- Cuando esté totalmente disuelta la cera, agregar el polvo de flores de jamaica y mezclar bien hasta que el color se distribuya uniformemente.

4- Strain the mixture if you want a finer texture.

4- Cuelen la mezcla si desean obtener una textura más fina.

5- Pour the mixture into a small lip balm container and let it cool until it solidifies.

5- Verter la mezcla en un recipiente pequeño para bálsamo labial y dejar enfriar hasta que se solidifique.

Apply to clean lips as often as desired throughout the day. This balm provides a delicate natural color, softening and protecting the lips. It is 100% natural and chemical-free. If you want a more intense color, you can add another teaspoon of hibiscus flower powder.

Aplicar sobre los labios limpios cuantas veces quieran durante el día. Este bálsamo aporta un delicado color natural, suavizando y protegiendo los labios. Es 100% natural, libre de químicos. Si quieren un color más intenso, pueden agregar una cucharadita más de polvo de flores de jamaica.
