Nora y Bones se conocían desde la adolescencia; gracias a una competencia entre colegios, habían cruzado miradas y desde ese momento su vida había sido entrelazada, reuniéndose en secreto y compartiendo sus gustos por la música, los cuales no dejaron de mejorar, y con los años no solo se habían convertido en personas talentosas, sino que también se habían unido como una relación sólida, pues su amor había florecido entre melodías y cantos en lo que años más tarde fue la boda, la rebelde y única para el estilo que tanto amaban.

Nora era una cantante de música rock que mantenía el estilo característico que tanto le gustaba y que sus canciones solo se escuchaban con esa energía única cuando seguían ese ritmo de bones cuya batería era tan única que podía dar energía hasta al más desanimado. En años de relación, habían logrado establecer ese margen entre una vida de casados y lo que ellos llamaban la dopamina de la música, que era en cada presentación y momento donde brillaban en el escenario de forma casi sobrenatural debido a la perfecta sincronización que tenían.

Sin embargo, muchos sabían que dentro del mundo de la música, así como la vida feliz, la envidia y el rencor podían aparecer en cualquier momento, y en este caso no era la excepción, puesto que, aunque ya tenían algunos años de casados, para la familia de Bones se les hacía algo apresurado, además de que estaban en contra de cualquier tipo de música por la forma de ser de estos, y esta feliz pareja ya había pasado por innumerables momentos donde los padres de este lo habían intentado obligar a dejar a Nora e irse fuera del país a cumplir con el sueño de sus padres de que fuera médico, cosa que ambos fueron siempre firmes y lograron seguir sus sueños a costa de dejarlo todo atrás.

Y todo estaba bien; la marea estaba sospechosamente baja y no parecía indicar nada raro, y es que tanto Nora como Bones estaban concentrados en lo que sería su celebración de aniversario, ya que él quería darle a su esposa la mejor sorpresa, por lo que tenía preparada una celebración con amigos en el bar donde habían debutado por primera vez, el cual quedaba al otro lado de donde vivían; por ende, Bones había quedado en pasar unos días allá para organizar todo para cuando llegara Nora y, como era de esperarse, esta información llegó a oídos de la familia de Bones.

Y todo estaba bien; la marea estaba sospechosamente baja y no parecía indicar nada raro, y es que tanto Nora como Bones estaban concentrados en lo que sería su celebración de aniversario, ya que él quería darle a su esposa la mejor sorpresa, por lo que tenía preparada una celebración con amigos en el bar donde habían debutado por primera vez, el cual quedaba al otro lado de donde vivían; por ende, Bones había quedado en pasar unos días allá para organizar todo para cuando llegara Nora y, como era de esperarse, esta información llegó a oídos de la familia de Bones.

Nora fue recibida ese día por su suegra, quien, luego de humillarla como siempre, la golpeó al punto de dejarla desmayada y tirada en un lado de la carretera. Ella había contratado a una persona para que la recogiera luego y le tomara fotos, poniéndola en una situación vergonzosa. Lo que no sabía esta señora era que Theo, un trailero que se ganaba la vida con un trabajo rutinario, pasaría y que, a diferencia de otros, no dudaría ni un segundo en pararse y recoger a Nora para ayudarla.

Theo ayudó a despertar a Nora, quien alterada le pidió que la ayudara, y tras unos minutos donde le contó lo pasado, este le comentó que justamente estaba haciendo un traslado de una carga pesada a un punto muy cercano de donde estaba su esposo y se ofreció a llevarla y apoyarla en lo que fuera, puesto que no toleraba en absoluto este tipo de comportamientos. En el camino, Theo le ayudó a contactarse con Bones, quien quedó muy enojado al saber todo y que esperaría pacientemente a su esposa mientras ideaba una forma de confrontar definitivamente a sus padres.

En el camino, Nora le comentó de su vida a Theo y este, sorprendentemente, se sintió identificado, puesto que de joven había tenido un gran gusto por la música, pero por cuidar a su hija había preferido trabajar duro; sin embargo, solía cantar y tocarle a ella para crear una bonita relación de padre e hija, puesto que solo estaban ambos y se apoyaban lo más posible; solían charlar durante horas hasta que lograron llegar donde Bones

Apenas se vieron, el abrazo fue muy reconfortante para ambos mientras Bones se disculpaba con Nora por cada inconveniente que su familia estaba causando, así como también le prometía que solucionaría todo. Mientras esto pasaba, Theo daba la vuelta para irse, pero Nora lo detuvo para presentárselo a Bones y este le dio las gracias por todo, prometiendo que no olvidaría esto y así mismo lo invitaron a quedarse con ellos durante los días restantes y también a asistir a la celebración en agradecimiento.

Pasaron los días restantes y la familia de Bones estaba algo preocupada, pues no tenían fotos ni nada de lo que esperaban para poder hacer su plan, así como ningún rastro de Nora, pero aun así no se inmutaron en aparecer el día de la celebración, llevándose una sorpresa al entrar y ver a Nora y Bones, los cuales parecían esperarlos con la policía, pues habían hecho la respectiva denuncia y habían pedido que estuvieran allí por temor a que algo sucediera.

Luego de un rato, los policías se lo llevaron para proceder con todos los cargos y, pasado esto, decidieron que nada opacaría su día especial y siguieron con lo planeado. Bones, en compañía de ahora su nuevo gran amigo Theo, tocaron una canción, puesto que Nora le había contado a su esposo sobre el sueño de este y, por ende, decidieron que él, al igual que ellos, cumpliera su sueño, por lo que esa noche cantó como nunca, mientras Nora, en compañía de la hija de Theo, la cual había ido a buscar para conocer, aplaudía y sonreía mucho.

Los días pasaron luego de esa celebración y a los padres de Bones se les impuso un tiempo de prisión, así como una orden de alejamiento, y la feliz pareja, ya libre de todo tormento, siguió cumpliendo sus metas y cantando juntos como nunca y ahora en compañía de un nuevo amigo y su hija, a quienes hicieron su ahijada en agradecimiento para que nada les faltara.

Nora and Bones had known each other since they were teenagers; thanks to a competition between schools, they had crossed glances and from that moment on their lives had been intertwined, meeting in secret and sharing their taste in music, which continued to improve, and over the years they had not only become talented people, but had also bonded as a solid relationship, as their love had blossomed between melodies and songs in what years later would become the wedding, the rebellious and unique one for the style they loved so much.

Nora was a rock singer who maintained the signature style she loved so much, and her songs only felt as if they had that unique energy when they followed that Bones rhythm, whose drumming was so unique it could energize even the most discouraged. Over the years of their relationship, they had managed to establish that gap between married life and what they called the dopamine rush of music, which was, in every performance and moment, where they shone on stage in an almost supernatural way due to their perfect synchronization.

However, many knew that within the world of music, just like a happy life, envy and resentment could appear at any time, and in this case it was no exception, since, although they had been married for a few years, for Bones' family it seemed somewhat rushed, in addition to the fact that they were against any type of music because of their way of being, and this happy couple had already gone through countless moments where his parents had tried to force him to leave Nora and go out of the country to fulfill his parents' dream of him becoming a doctor, something that both were always firm in and managed to follow their dreams at the cost of leaving everything behind.

And everything was fine; the tide was suspiciously low and didn't seem to indicate anything strange, and both Nora and Bones were focused on what would be their anniversary celebration, since he wanted to give his wife the best surprise, so he had prepared a celebration with friends at the bar where they had debuted for the first time, which was on the other side of where they lived; therefore, Bones had agreed to spend a few days there to organize everything for when Nora arrived and, as expected, this information reached the ears of Bones' family.

Two days later, Nora was tricked into meeting Bones at a remote location due to a fake problem. It was a lonely spot where people were rarely seen, and the truckers passing by wouldn't stop for fear. The plan was simple: leave Nora stranded so she wouldn't attend the celebration, and trick Bones into being disappointed in her, leading them to separate.

Nora was greeted that day by her mother-in-law, who, after humiliating her as usual, beat her to the point of leaving her unconscious and lying on the side of the road. She had hired someone to pick her up and take photos, embarrassing her. What this woman didn't know was that Theo, a truck driver who earned his living with a routine job, would be passing by and, unlike others, wouldn't hesitate for a second to stop and pick Nora up to help her.

Theo helped wake up Nora, who, upset, asked him to help her. After a few minutes of telling him what had happened, Theo told her that he was just moving a heavy load to a point very close to where her husband was and offered to take her and support her in whatever way he could, since he absolutely did not tolerate this type of behavior. On the way, Theo helped her contact Bones, who was very angry to find out everything and said he would wait patiently for his wife while he devised a way to definitively confront his parents.

Along the way, Nora told Theo about her life, and surprisingly, he identified with her. As a young man, he'd had a great love of music, but to take care of his daughter, he'd preferred to work hard. However, he often sang and played for her, creating a beautiful father-daughter relationship, since it was just the two of them, and they supported each other as much as possible. They would often chat for hours until they finally made it to Bones.

As soon as they saw each other, the hug was very comforting for both of them, while Bones apologized to Nora for every inconvenience her family was causing, as well as promising that he would fix everything. While this was happening, Theo turned to leave, but Nora stopped him to introduce him to Bones, who thanked him for everything, promising that he wouldn't forget this, and also invited him to stay with them for the remaining days and also to attend the celebration in gratitude.

The remaining days passed and Bones' family was somewhat worried, as they had no photos or anything of what they expected to be able to carry out their plan, as well as no trace of Nora, but even so they did not hesitate to appear on the day of the celebration, taking a surprise when entering and seeing Nora and Bones, who seemed to be waiting for them with the police, as they had made the respective complaint and had asked them to be there for fear that something would happen.

After a while, the police took him away to proceed with all the charges, and after that, they decided that nothing would overshadow their special day and went ahead with what was planned. Bones, accompanied by his now great friend Theo, played a song, since Nora had told her husband about his dream and, therefore, they decided that he, like them, would fulfill his dream. So that night he sang like never before, while Nora, accompanied by Theo's daughter, whom she had gone to look for to meet, clapped and smiled a lot.

The days passed after that celebration and Bones' parents were given prison time, as well as a restraining order, and the happy couple, now free from all torment, continued to achieve their goals and sing together like never before, now in the company of a new friend and his daughter, whom they made their goddaughter in gratitude so that they would lack nothing.
