PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 129: Hunting Wildlife in the Morning
Hunting Wildlife in the Morning.
Hello everyone. Also hello to the admin and contest initiator @photofeed. I hope you have a fun and creative day.
Alright everyone, in this week's wildlife-themed photofeed contest, I'd like to share some photos and stories.
- Stink Bug
The stink bug is an insect known for its ability to emit an unpleasant odor. When threatened or disturbed, the stink bug releases a pungent-smelling liquid from special glands on its body. This odor serves as a defense mechanism to ward off predators and protect itself from threats. Despite its unpleasant odor, the stink bug itself is harmless to humans and is more often considered an agricultural pest because it can damage rice and other crops.
- Red Dragonfly
The red dragonfly is one of the most attractive and easily recognizable dragonflies due to its bright and beautiful body color. With its broad, transparent wings and slender, bright red body, this dragonfly is often found around bodies of water such as rivers, lakes, or ponds. The red dragonfly is a swift and agile predator, with incredibly fast and agile flight. The red dragonfly's beauty and agility make it a popular object among nature lovers and photographers.
- White Butterfly
This animal is often considered a pest by the people of my village. It is considered a pest because its presence always causes itchy skin. Most of this butterfly's habitat is rice crops. Therefore, every rice harvest season, residents often prepare to prevent attacks by this white butterfly.
This small white butterfly has fine hairs that can cause skin irritation. Its hairs contain poison and can cause an itchy rash if touched.
- Tortoise Beetle
This small animal is called the Tortoise Beetle because its body shape resembles a tortoise. It looks beautiful with its black and orange stripes. I used to play with this animal as a child with my friends. Its habitat can be found in parks and wild gardens.

Wow, all the photos are spectacular. I loved the red dragonfly. However, I've been waiting for a ladybug to visit my garden so I can capture it with my camera lens. You were able to do it. Good luck in the contest. Best regards.
