Photofeed Contest: Wildlife Photography Round 149, I submitted a photo of an orange beetle resting on a taro leaf. I took this photo near a swiftlet's nest. In the photo above, you can see the shape of the small beetle; from the small, saw-like antennae growing between the protruding, jet-black eyes, to the pouty mouth with its tiny pincers, and its legs, which are covered in visible adhesive hairs. This beetle lives in shady, humid places, and feeds on leaves and small stems.
