Hello photography lovers ❤️📷
Hello @photofeed
Photo Contest:

Rhagoletis pomonella, or apple fruit fly, is a species of fly belonging to the Tephritidae family. This species is also part of the order Diptera, class Insecta, phylum Arthropoda, and kingdom Animalia. Most members of this species lay their eggs in plant tissue, where the larvae find their first food after birth. Adult flies typically have a very short lifespan, with some living for less than a week. [¹]
How to identify apple fruit flies: Adult flies are 1/4 inch in size, smaller than the common housefly. They have dark patches on their transparent wings and a conspicuous white spot where the thorax and abdomen meet. They have three (males) or four (females) white stripes on their abdomen. [²]
