📷 Photofeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 159: Leaf-Footed Ladybug

Hello photography lovers ❤️📷

Hello @photofeed

Photo Contest:

In this wildlife photography contest, I'm featuring a leaf-footed ladybug. This ladybug is an insect belonging to the Coreidae family. Its distinguishing characteristics include an elongated brown body, long antennae, and wide, leaf-like hind legs (hence the name "leaf-footed bug"). If we look closely, we can clearly see its wings closing in the distinctive "X" pattern of ladybugs (order Hemiptera). This insect is not difficult to spot, as it typically lives on plants and sucks sap from fruit or stems. In Indonesia, it is often found in gardens and yards. Some species can be plant pests, but are not dangerous or even fatal to humans.
