In this 145th Black and White Photography contest, I will submit a photo full of meaning and an emotional story. A woman farmer is walking along the edge of a rice field carrying weeds in a sack. She is a neighbor of mine who is an expert farmer. I framed her in black and white, intentionally to give it a more classic feel and to give it a story of struggle. Her old face and wrinkled skin indicate she is a warrior often forgotten by the nation. Yes, farmers are indeed the nation's food heroes. Let's pray for the health of our food heroes.
