LAUGHING IN LIFE: LADIES OF HIVE CONTEST #270

In the 270th round of the Ladies of Hive contest, hosted by the community and judged by judges and questioner @sacra97, I was particularly drawn to the second theme: Things that make me laugh.

I titled it 'LAUGHING IN LIFE' because, for me, life itself often makes me laugh.

What parts of life often make me laugh?

There are so many things in this world that often make me smile or even laugh. I'm a thoughtful person, and I think life often makes us laugh.

First, let's reflect: Every time we have a problem, we reflect, think, and find a solution, and then the problem is solved. Then a new problem arises, we find a solution, and that problem is solved. The next day another problem arises, we find a solution, and that problem is solved. And so on. Isn't it true that things like this can make us laugh? That sometimes life is often a joke?

Human behavior often makes me laugh. It starts with the stories of people who are often trapped by modern trends, so their lives are dictated by lifestyle. People who fall in love, make promises, then get dumped, cry all day, and as time passes, find another partner.

Or our own lives: we struggle desperately to earn money. With money we achieve wealth, with money we gain respect, then we get sick, and finally die. After we die, we are forgotten. Forgotten by our colleagues because our position will be replaced by a new employee. Our partner who promised not to look for a replacement finally finds one, meaning our place in someone's life will also be replaced.

Or our past as youth: naughty, mischievous, and so on—all of these are memories that often make us laugh when we recall them.

Don't they all make us laugh? Or smile a little?

I don't mean to belittle life. But, sometimes life itself often invites us to joke. There's a saying, "What we consider a tragedy today, we will consider a comedy tomorrow."

Maybe my father's adage is true: there's no need to take life too seriously. Tears will turn to laughter, smiles will turn to sadness. Let's just live simply.
