Splinterlands art contest week 356! Drawing of a HALFLING REFUGEE

Hello folks i am pleased to enroll my drawing for Splinterlands art contest week 365!
My drawing for this week is a “HALFLING Refugee”
The Halfling Refugee might look small, but don’t let that fool you this tiny warrior is full of surprises! In the world of Splinterlands, where big monsters roar and fly through the sky with glowing swords and magical powers, this little guy stands out not because he’s the strongest, or fastest, or scariest but because he never gives up. He’s a fighter, a survivor, and honestly, one of the bravest cards you can find. The Halfling Refugee comes from a place where his people once lived peacefully, until a big war chased them out. He had to run from everything he knew: his home, his friends, even his favorite tree stump where he used to sit and eat mushrooms.
But instead of being sad or hiding forever, the Halfling picked up a stick well, more like a little weapon and decided he wasn’t going to let fear win.

What makes the Halfling Refugee super cool in battles isn’t just that he’s small and hard to hit. It’s his power his crazy, game-changing power! When he strikes an enemy, he cuts their attack power in half! That means if a big, mean monster comes charging with full force, the Halfling hits back and weakens it instantly. That’s why people love putting him in their team. Even though he’s small and looks like he should be running the other way, he’s actually the one turning giant monsters into soft little kittens! And he’s not just brave, he’s also super quick. The Halfling moves fast, dodging blows, getting into position, and striking when it matters the most. He doesn’t wear big armor like the knights or carry giant hammers like some warriors — he relies on speed, heart, and that one mighty skill that makes enemies panic. The way he looks might not scare anyone messy hair, dirt on his face, wearing worn-out clothes but that’s because he’s been through a lot. He’s walked through swamps, hid under old bridges, climbed cold mountains, and made friends with forest creatures just to survive. Every little scar and scratch on him tells a story. He’s not a champion because he was born strong. He’s a champion because he refuses to give up. And that’s why he’s so special. In Splinterlands, where everyone is showing off with dragons and explosions, the Halfling Refugee shows that being small doesn’t mean being weak. It means being clever, quick, and full of heart. He teaches players a really cool lesson that you don’t have to be the biggest or the loudest to make a big impact.

Medium

Charcoal and crayon on paper

Size

8 X 11 inch

All you need is courage and the will to stand up, even when the odds are against you. Kids and grown-ups who play with him know how fun it is to surprise their enemies with a little card that packs such a punch. Imagine this: your opponent thinks they’re about to crush your team with a big monster, and then bam! the Halfling jumps in, swings his weapon, and now that big monster is only half as strong. It’s hilarious, and it’s awesome.

Final work

People who play Splinterlands often save a spot in their lineup just for him because he can flip a battle upside down with just one hit. So next time you’re building your team, don’t overlook this little guy. He may be small, and he may be a refugee with no grand castle or shiny armor, but the Halfling Refugee has something that many powerful creatures don’t heart, grit, and a wild fighting spirit. He’s the underdog that everyone roots for. And when he’s on your side, anything is possible. Because sometimes, the tiniest warrior can make the biggest difference.
