I would choose forgetting my memories and be with the same people... LOH 242

If I had to choose between remembering my past life without ever seeing the people I loved again, or forgetting everything but getting the chance to be with those same people, I would choose the second option. I would rather forget my memories and be with the same people again.

The reason is simple, the people in our lives are what make life special. Our family, friends, and even those who were with us for just a short time leave a deep mark on our hearts. We may not always remember every moment we shared with them, but the feeling they gave us stays inside, even without memories. Being with them again, even if I don’t know who they were in the past, feels more comforting than walking alone with only memories to hold on to.

Memories are important, yes. They help us learn, grow, and understand life better. But memories without the people we love can feel empty. What’s the use of remembering laughter if the people who laughed with you are no longer there? What’s the use of knowing pain if the ones who helped you heal are lost forever? I believe that love, kindness, and connection go beyond memories. They are something deeper, something our souls feel, even when our minds forget.

Choosing to forget everything might sound scary at first. It means losing who you were. But it also gives you the gift of starting again, with the people who once mattered most to you. You may not recognize them, and they won’t recognize you either, but your hearts will slowly remember. You might feel drawn to them without knowing why. You might find peace in their presence without understanding the reason. That, to me, is a kind of magic more powerful than memory.

In the end, I believe love is more important than memory. I believe being with the right people, those who understand and care for you deep down, is more valuable than knowing who you used to be. So, I would gladly forget my past if it meant I could live again with the people who made life meaningful.

Because even without memories, real love finds its way back. Always.

it's our duty to save ourselves from whatever that tends to weigh us down. Some memories are worth keeping but if at all they'll course us our peace and growth, it is safer to neglect them and face the positive side of life that brings peace and comfort..
