The winners
🥇 1st place:
@justicej - Wuzaru the monk) - 3 pts - prize: 20% of the post's earnings + 300 Ecency Points

This digital piece is a striking blend of serenity and raw elemental power, effectively capturing the "calm before the storm" energy of a spiritual warrior. The contrast between the vibrant orange robes and the dynamic water splashes creates a beautiful visual balance, while the subtle integration of flames on the shoulders and tail hints at a fierce inner strength that doesn't need to be loud to be felt. Your use of a focused expression and the glowing red gem adds a nice layer of mystery to the character, making this Wuzaru-like monk feel both disciplined and ancient.
🥈 2nd place:
@xayu-s - A crossbody bag for my sister – obviously a late birthday gift - 1 pt - prize: 15% of the post's earnings + 200 Ecency Points

This handcrafted satchel is an impressive feat of perseverance and skill, especially considering the technical hurdles and "construction site" chaos you navigated during its creation. The choice of mahogany Pro Dye paired with the vegetable-tanned leather gives the piece a rich, vintage character that is beautifully complemented by the antique brown hardware. While you noted some minor production "losses" like drips and scratches, these often add to the authentic, artisanal soul of a first project, and the double-layered body suggests a level of durability that goes far beyond a typical beginner's attempt. It is a stylish, functional gift that balances rugged construction with a refined aesthetic—a solid 8/10 that sets a very high bar for your future leatherwork.
🥉 3rd places:
@gatubela - Un conejo en el amanecer nevado 🐇❄️🌞 (creyones pastel y lápices de colores) / A rabbit in the snowy dawn 🐇❄️🌞 (oil pastel creyons and colored pencils) - 1 pt - prize: 7% of the post's earnings + 50 Ecency Points

This charming piece beautifully demonstrates the power of high-contrast mediums, using black cardstock to make the cool tones of the winter landscape truly pop. The deliberate use of light blue and gray highlights within the white fur and snow prevents the scene from looking flat, creating a realistic sense of depth and icy texture. I especially love the atmospheric glow of the oversized amber sun; the soft blending of its rays against the dark background provides a warm, hopeful focal point that perfectly captures the quiet magic of a winter dawn.
@reyghart04 - El flaco alegre/The cheerful skinny one (Esp/Eng)🎂🥳) - 1 pt - prize: 7% of the post's earnings + 50 Ecency Points

This pencil portrait is a wonderful tribute, effectively capturing a vibrant sense of joy and character that perfectly aligns with your title, "The Cheerful Skinny One." The standout feature is undoubtedly the rendered eyeglasses, where you expertly managed to convey complex, reflective details that give the lenses depth and realism. Your dedication is evident in the subtle shading of the smiling expression and the intricate texture of the coat. While you noted the challenges with rendering the gray hairs in the beard, the overall result remains highly expressive and heartfelt, serving as a powerful testament to both your skill and your affection for your uncle José.

Muchísimas gracias.
Congratulations to all the participants and especially to the winners. Don’t be shy about voting for the exhibitors’ works. You don’t have to be a creator to vote. Choose the three artworks you like most, that remind you of something important, or that you believe are difficult to create. Simply vote with ❤️ 🎨
There are artists who don’t have the gift of words and cannot explain their works well, but there are great art critics who explain them clearly and add value to the creators’ works—even if they can only draw a circle and stick figures. We are all important, just like your vote 👍🌟
