RENT AN APARTMENT

Happy new week friends, as usual the @indiaunited community has come up with an interesting prompt, one that I can totally relate with although i do not have that kind of money with me at the moment. It states that if I had $1,000 with me today what will I do.

This new year came with a lot of responsibilities for me especially relocating to a new environment and trying to come up with funds to rent a new place so that I can be free and do whatever I like. We all know that when you are giving a free apartment especially by your place of work it comes with a lot of limitations.

Hence, if I should get $1,000 I would definitely be renting a standard apartment that suits my style and all of these has to do with either a room self contain with bathroom, toilet and kitchen or a room and parlor with bathroom and kitchen with water flowing in. This is my priority right now as I have been given a quick notice to leave my present accommodation. Hence, having that kind of money with allow me to rent a place, buy a good mattress and pillow, and furnish it to taste.

The interesting part is that even a thousand dollars is too much to rent and furnish my apartment in other words, I will have a great amount of change left which will allow me to invest in stocks or mutual funds which are available on different mobile application. This goes to show that they are easily accessible and does not require a third party to invest.

So if $1,000 is about a million naira i would use 500k for anything that has to do with the apartment and the rest will go into investing and buying or food stuffs that will last me for a while.
