MOVIE: WHERE LOVE LIES

Its really had to have a favorite movie especially in 2025 because most movies produced this year were great and had a great plot. Although, i cannot totally remember all the movies I have watched so far but some of them both local and international includes stranger things, Road house, beauty in black, farmers bride, my mother is a witch, alakada bad and boujee, farkham hall etc. So from the over 100 movies that I have watched it is difficult to have one favorite amongst them all and again this year is movies were produced with great plot and beautiful cinematic views.

However, one popular movie that is currently trending in my country Nigeria is titled where love lies by bimbo ademoye. It is a Nigerian movie that explores the themes of romance, love, betrayal, friendship and wealth. This movie was released four days ago and it encompasses the difficulties women have to go through in retaining their loyalty and love for their relationships.

The movie is about a lady named demilade who happens to move to a very rich estate and leave a flamboyant lifestyle because she has suffered in poverty and God has elevated her through her husband's thriving business. In essence, the movie goes to show that love does not always lie on the surface and it can be tested to a point that it would drain you and keep you distant for yourself and your spouse. it also reveals that true love hides behind pain and the sacrifice we are ready to offer both physically and emotionally. It is all about making difficult decisions.

Also, the movie "Where Love Lies" points out that to attain true love, it requires a lot which definitely includes : honesty, maturity, and self-awareness.

In conclusion, the movie is one that encompasses wealth, class, composure and so many more. I really love the way the actors brought out the Accra characters to portray the true meaning of what the intended to describe. It is an interesting watch even if people are criticizing the movie about how it is overrated but somehow it's goes to show the entirety of what couples go through when the love is being tested by lack of wealth that they have been used to.
