LOH 281: WORKING FROM THE OFFICE

There are several reasons why people prefer working from home and others prefer going to the office the level of productivity that people get from choosing either is what is best for them and what they can work with.

No doubt, working from home seems like the perfect thing to do as a Nigerian Who has to go through the Hustle of beating traffic using expensive transport fare to get their place of work. People with definitely prefer to work from home than going to the office because of these reason.

Personally, working remotely is interesting because you get to do everything from the comfort of your home without getting school dead or getting a query from your boss for being late or not carrying out a particular task in the office.

However, personally going to the office can staying at home for work. It would bring about distractions in many forms and would reduce my productivity.

As an introvert, i see going to the office for work as it means to socially interact with other people and to make friends and build connections. Staying at home for someone like me would only reduce my visibility and not allow me build the necessary relationships I need to grow my career.

Based on my current employment going to the office as allowed me to see and be involved with people who are higher than me which has in turn inspired me to want to be better careerwise and in my self worth.

Again, working at the office helps to distinguish and separate work life from home life. Overtime, this has brought about a lot of issues especially for those who cannot categorically separate both. It therefore means that by going to work, I am respecting the fact that whatever happens at work must end at work before getting home, except it is important.
