COMMUNICATION SKILL

Truly, every person has one or two skills or talent embedded in them or ones that they have developed over time based on experience or learning. It is okay to say that some people have inbuilt skills or talent that is innate in them because most people uh so perfect at a particular skill that they do not know that they have it in them and it is difficult for some other people to passively carry out that same particular skill.

Take for instance, there are people who are naturally born as as extrovert which means that they are not shy but confident when it comes to communicating with people but others that are born as introvert and naturally shy and cannot communicate properly with every kind of person. Hence, while the latter has a natural skill of great communication, the introvert has to learn to be confident and brave or bold in certain situations.

As an introvert, one skill that I have developed over time is definitely communication, I am glad that my parents and mentors took it upon themselves right from when I was a child to build up my communication skills by allowing me to be involved in setting extracurricular activities in school such as debate contest, quiz contest, public speaking and so many more.

Also, one thing I appreciate while I was in secondary school is that they allowed us in senior classes to lead the assembly of over 500 students. Also as a boarding student in a Catholic School, we were made to partake in daily readings in the church for morning masses.

Communication is an important skills that is beyond academics, over time the ability to communicate with people glue into a strength that shaped my personality. Even at the place I work now I am confident in myself when I carry out particular task and the ability to express my ideas and to stand up for myself in different areas because as we all know having a job in the 21st century is tasky and would need you to represent yourself in different areas period

In conclusion, I remember taking a course in cousera on public speaking because as they say no knowledge is ever lost one can keep studying to improve oneself.
