BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS

I believe it saves a lot of stress when people can take account of their actions regardless of the situation. It is always a good thing where people make mistakes and they do things that allows you to trust their process in growth. Making mistakes is not an issue but when people try to take you for a Fool by not being accountable for their actions it's weighs on you as a person.

This happens a lot especially in relationships or amongst colleagues. One time my colleague partner made a mistake and I noticed in his actions that he doesn't take accountability for the mistakes you makes, which makes us falling for the consequences until I spoke up one time when it was very evident that it was his fault.

There was one time I was having a discussion with my talking stage, when I noticed that I was the one making the calls or keeping the conversations going and he would not reciprocate the same energy I give. This got me upset one day and I decided to confront him, but he kept on claiming that he had done not even wrong so he had nothing to be accountable for.

To be honesty this put me off and I distanced myself almost immediately because I was not ready to start explaining myself for anyone especially an adult that's suppose to know what to and what not to do.

Based on my experience, I have noticed that people not being accountable for their actions has put a dent in what could have been a great relationship, sometimes this could be about pride and ego. Some people do not want to bring themselves low and be accountable for their actions, Rather they want to show authority in a weird way.

This is my participation in the @scifimultiverse community weekly prompt, to join in check through this link

In this prompt we invite you to share your opinion with us on this topic. Why is it important to admit your mistakes instead of blaming others? How can accountability help build trust in relationships or teamwork?

Thanks for stopping by my blog...

You nailed it ma'am.
A lot of us just want to find a way to tie the blame or something around another thing or a person instead of us to just own up to it and take responsibility.
