A good beer for the darkest hour (and for saving polar bears)

Hello beer friends for another episode of #beersaturday with music 🍺

Today I share with you a beer that I found in the local club where I do my dj set once a month

This is the only place where I see this Bjorne Beer. It may seems a beer from some north European country but it's actually an Italian beer. Labeled as "the bear beer", I share with you what the producers' website says about this double malt beer:

She's acting shy in that yellow-gold picnic beer color, but as soon as you taste her you realize she's not here combing dolls. He's here to set you in line.
It has that caramel flavor, soft, all cuddles and caresses, and then boom – you remember it's 8.3%.
Intense, but never cloying. It slides that it's a pleasure, but it leaves its mark.
It's balanced. It's strong. It's special, it shoves it in your face, and you thank it too.

These guys are very social media oriented, in fact their website is really simple. They don't talk in details about how their beers are made. They rather talk about their work trying to convey a fun vibe. They talk about the experience of drinking the beer, not the beer itslef.

Anyway, Bjorne beer is indeed a good and fun beer to drink. It is strong but pleasant at the same time. It has a compact and quite aromatic foam, a strongly hoppy but not too bitter taste, counterbalanced by a slight sweetness typical of double malt beers.

Just know that the bear mascot comes from the fact that part of their profit is donated to WWF project "adopt a polar bear", so I'm actually helping saving polar bears by drinking beer. Two birds with one stone.

Before my set, playing music for the people of the night. And because we're talking about darkwave music, here's some music related, a big inspiration for my own works:

TALK TO HER - PLD

For our music appointment, today I share with you this new release by Talk To Her.
They are a Italian post-punk band, active since ten years now, with three albums released plus an EP. They released a new work just a couple months ago, called Pleasure Loss Desire and this song, Dyve, is one of the singles released, anticipating the album.
I love how Talk to her are able to create simple post-punk songs but with a modern darkwave twist. They have a great taste in mixing straight simple rythmic sessions with ethereal, very reverberated guitars and voices.
This album's theme is still about emotions, human relationships, deep meanings about how people's lives interacts with each other.

Cheers to real, deep, meaningful human relations then 🍻
