A beer from Umbria, where master brewers live
Hello beer friends to another episode of #beersaturday and music 🍺
Today I take you to Umbria. I know the name sounds like a medieval fantasy land but it's a region in center Italy, for real.

As the label says, it's a 100% Italian craft beer. Mastri Birrai Umbri (Umbria's Master Brewers) is a local brewery that gained a lot of popularity in Italy in recent years. We are talking about top quality craft beer that managed to be distributed and promoted all over the country and beyond.

Usually you find it in 50 cl bottles but recently I'm seeing these cans too, with beautiful designs on it. It surely grabs attention, right?
This beer is a strong ale. In Italy we call it Doppio Malto (double malt), used to define a stronger beer, usually around 8% of alcohol.
This type of beer is becoming my favourite because they tend to have a slightly sweet taste, such as caramel and mature fruits.
This one has a thick and persistent foam, very pleasant to see. The aroma of malt and the bitterness of hops are well balanced by the sweet note I was talking about previously. A very good beer, I highly recommend this one.

HOUSE OF PROTECTION - FIRE
So I was listening to House of Protection yesterday for the first time and boy... When people today still believe that rock is dead, I feel pity for them. They don't know what they're missing out.
In 2025 House of Protection released a 7 tracks album called "Outrun You All" that is pure FIRE and this FIRE song is what really got me into their music. I totally love this new wave of modern rock music, combining raging guitars and drums with aggressive synths and effects. Voices that swings from punk to hip-hop but they are also able to sing some melodic ethereal choruses like in Godspeed
High end big production that's able to maintain that raw and dirty power. No defined genre. Only pure power. I'm totally on FIRE for this
Cheers 🍻
