Concurso de la Comunidad Ladies Of Hive #264 // Ladies Of Hive Community Contest #264

En esta ocasión su primera pregunta me confrontó muchísimo, porque si existe algo difícil en la vida son las decisiones, ellas nos llevan a vivir consecuencias que según sea la naturaleza de esa decisión dicha consecuencia puede ser buena o mala. La primera pregunta de esta iniciativa dice, ¿Cuál fue una decisión importante que tomaste recientemente que cambió algo en tu vida? Bueno creo que constantemente vivimos tomando decisiones, sin embargo hay unas que tienen más envergadura que otras, hablar de una decisión transcendental en mi vida pues tan recientemente no fue, se trata de una decisión laboral que tomé hace dos años y la cual hoy digo fue la mejor decisión que he tomado en mi vida.

Hace muchos años, cuando era una estudiante universitaria yo soñaba con ser una profesora universitaria, Pero realmente eso se veía muy inalcanzable, después de graduarme yo comencé a trabajar contratada en la universidad y así estuve por mucho tiempo hasta que llegó la pandemia y no me llamaron más. Debido a toda la crisis social, política y económica que vive mi país, el sector educativo fue en decadencia por lo que yo más nunca soñé con eso, pero Dios que conoce nuestros corazones tenía otros planes para mí.

Yo trabajaba en un liceo, con educación media (secundaria) pero un día así de la nada un 09 de Mayo del año 2023 recibí una llamada en la que me decían que se abriría un concurso de oposición para ingresar como personal fijo a la Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador. Sin embargo, me invadió el miedo porque sabía que someterme a un concurso universitaria requería de mucho esfuerzo, por mucho tiempo dudé de hacerlo, incluso lo consulte con muchas personas buscando que me dijeran que no lo hiciera, pero las personas a mi alrededor las que me quieren de verdad me dijeron hazlo, no lo dudes más.

Así me embarqué en esta travesía, comencé a estudiar muchísimo, me sometí a mucho estrés porque el contenido era demasiado largo, había momentos en los que sentía que no podía, entonces lloraba mucho. El gran día llegó presente la prueba escrita y fui la máxima calificación, pase a la segunda fase y allí también salí victoriosa quedé en primer lugar y con eso me hice merecedora de ese cargo. Después de eso muchas cosas han pasado en mi anterior trabajo, se ha vuelto un ambiente hostil, tóxico y con muchos problemas, lo que ahora no tengo porque soportar ya que tengo mi empleo soñado; por otra parte, muchas puertas más se han abierto, he podido dar a conocer mis habilidades, mi trabajo y eso me ha traído aún más beneficios económicos, aparte de la satisfacción de estar haciendo lo que me gusta en el lugar que mi corazón siempre deseo.

Hoy finalmente digo gracias Dios por permitirme esta oportunidad, me agradezco a mi misma haber tomado esta decisión, cada día le pido a Dios me ayude a tomar decisiones sabias que me lleven a mejorar mi calidad de vida, que sean en oro de mi bienestar y que sobre todo me generen paz.

This time, his first question really challenged me, because if there is one thing that is difficult in life, it is making decisions. They lead us to experience consequences that, depending on the nature of the decision, can be good or bad. The first question in this initiative asks, “What was an important decision you made recently that changed something in your life?” Well, I think we are constantly making decisions, but some are more significant than others. Talking about a momentous decision in my life, it wasn't so recent. It was a career decision I made two years ago, and today I can say it was the best decision I've ever made in my life.

Many years ago, when I was a university student, I dreamed of becoming a university professor, but that seemed very unattainable. After graduating, I started working at the university on a contract basis and stayed there for a long time until the pandemic hit and they stopped calling me. Due to all the social, political, and economic crises my country is experiencing, the education sector was in decline, so I never dreamed of that again, but God, who knows our hearts, had other plans for me.

I was working at a high school, teaching secondary education, but one day, out of the blue, on May 9, 2023, I received a call telling me that a competitive exam would be held to hire permanent staff at the Libertador Experimental Pedagogical University. However, I was overcome with fear because I knew that taking a university exam required a lot of effort. For a long time, I hesitated to do it. I even consulted with many people, hoping they would tell me not to do it, but the people around me who truly love me told me to do it, not to hesitate any longer.

So I embarked on this journey, I began to study very hard, I was under a lot of stress because the content was too long, there were moments when I felt I couldn't do it, so I cried a lot. The big day arrived, I took the written test and got the highest score, I passed to the second phase and there I was also victorious, I came in first place and with that I earned that position. After that, many things happened at my previous job. It became a hostile, toxic environment with many problems, which I no longer have to endure since I have my dream job. On the other hand, many more doors have opened, I have been able to showcase my skills and my work, and that has brought me even more financial benefits, apart from the satisfaction of doing what I love in the place my heart has always desired.

Today, I finally say thank you to God for giving me this opportunity. I thank myself for making this decision. Every day, I ask God to help me make wise decisions that will improve my quality of life, that will be beneficial to my well-being, and that, above all, will bring me peace.
