Brasil Fest aneb Rio v Brně; Rio in Brno

To byl rachot! Brnem se vlnil karnevalový průvod stovek tanečnic v pestrých kostýmech v rytmu samby, do toho vířily bubny a vzduch prořezávaly ostré tóny trubek. Na vše důstojně dohlížela nejslavnější Moravanka Venuše.

EN: What a spectacle it was! A carnival parade rippled through Brno, bursting with hundreds of dancers in vibrant costumes, all moving to the rhythm of samba. Drums thundered, trumpets pierced the air with sharp notes, and the entire city seemed to sway with the music. Watching over it all with graceful dignity was the most famous Moravian woman of all—Venus herself.

Před zahájením pochodu krasavice ochotně pózovaly divákům a fotografům, Ti šťastnější ulovili selfíčko.

EN: Before the carnival parade began, the beauties gladly posed for spectators and photographers. The lucky ones even managed to snap a selfie.

Karnevalový průvod protancoval z Moravského náměstí na Svoboďák a odtud na Zelný trh. Koridor byl obsypán davy lidí, všichni si hledali pozici, odkud by ulovili nejlepší výhled a nejlepší fotky. Tři muži bez člunu k tomu využili i stavební lešení.

EN: The carnival procession danced its way from Moravian square (Moravské náměstí) to the Liberty Square (náměstí Svobody) and then on to Vegetable market (Zelný trh). The corridor was lined with throngs of people, all jostling for a spot to capture the best view and photos. Three men, with no boat to stand on, even scrambled up the construction scaffolding to get a better vantage point.

Na Zelňáku byla akce ukončena, atraktivní tanečnice rozdaly fotografům poslední úsměvy a mohly se po náročném dni přezout do pohodlné obuvi.  Těším se, až se zase za rok město promění na Brno de Janeiro.

EN: The event came to a close at Zelný trh. The dazzling dancers offered photographers their final smiles and, after a long day, finally slipped into comfortable shoes. I can't wait for the city to transform once again next year into Brno de Janeiro.

Nejspíš byli. Kolem půl čtvrté jsem byl u koně na Moravském, potom přešel na průvod k Jakubovi.
