π there are about 371 tribes in Nigeria and even amongst these tribes their marital rites are different lol. I'm guessing it's one pattern of marital rites in your country?
It depends of the religion of the person mostly. There are different rites according to their religion. Or even if it is only a civil wedding it is different from a christian wedding for example.
Ohh spotted a difference there π . Here in my country is according to the traditions or customs of the people involved. Now this is where it gets really funny hereπ.... People get married traditionally then go ahead for a religious wedding and then a court marriage otherwise known as registry. So its two individuals being married thrice on different occasions lol
Wowwwwww π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£ too much money to spend!
Really π€£π€£π€£π€£... You see them acquiring debts and struggling after all that marriage ceremony π. Fortunately, the lockdown during COVID fine tuned the madness a bit. Before??? The three ceremony were held in grand styles.
Oh man! I can imagine!! Wellβ¦ i like the idea of a traditional cultural wedding and then you add the civil at least together π€£
π... As should really, funny how people take these things. My guy friend suggested to his fiancee for a court marriage first since fund is limited and they needed close to 10 million Naira (estimated at $6,528) for their traditional marriage rites. The lady refused and insisted to be married traditionally first, then church before court and then there is the reception after these weddings/marital rites which she expected to be huge π and she's not contributing a dime to all this. My friend couldn't keep up and she left. Told him he dodged a bullet lol.
