Why I'd Choose a Male Cat as My Dream Pet: LOH #243

Pets are beautiful creatures, they have this magical way of filling our lives with happiness and joy. Some might think they are just animal, but they are not. They are more than animals, they are companions, confidant and sometimes they may act as our immediate therapists.

If I could pick any animal of my choice to make a pet, my heart would definitely go for a cat, and to be specific the male once. Why I choose a male cat is because there is something special. I want to tell you why I choose cat as my pet and why I prefer the male one specifically.

While I was growing up, I was always drawn to cats. They have a curious eye, soft paws and a gentle purring sound, it always makes me feel they carry a little piece of calmness and serenity wherever they go. Cats love to act independent but at thesame time affectionate, this strikes the balance especially for someone like me who loves companionship, but also love to spend some personal time alone. Having a male cat in particular, feels like the best for me. Judging from my experience, male cats are more laid-back and playful. They have this loveable energy that makes every moment spent with them feel like a tiny adventure.

Imagine when you came back home after a long day at work, you sat on your couch feeling a bit drained, and from nowhere your male cat pet hops up beside you and nudges your had with his soft head, demanding a scratch behind the ears. Male cats seems to have the sense of knowing when you need a little extra love, just like a therapist, offering to make you comfortable without asking for much in returns.

Why a male cat over a female?

I have noticed that sometimes that female cat can be more aggressive. I once had a female cad called Vellarie, who loved to rule the house like a queen she is. She was fierce and independent as usual, but her periodic mood swings and territorial attitude could be unbearable. This my cat can hold grudges more than some humans. Male cats on the other hand always gets moody and would fall into your lap for a nap. That easy nature makes them feel like a best freind ever to humans.

Also, another reason why I would choose a male cat is how playful they are. There playfulness is infectious, it brings out the kid in me. I like spending my evenings watching him chasing some rats, or wrestling with a carnip toy, you can see the excitement in its eyes.

There is also something special about the bond you build with cats. They are loyal in their own special way. Cats genuinely enjoys the company of its owner. I want a pet who chooses tp be my side, not out of obligation, because we are natural friends.

I know all cats are unique, whether male or female. But for me, the male cat's combination of affection, playfulness and relaxation vibes makes it a perfect fit for me. Cats are more than a pet, they are like family to me.

So, of I could pick any animal, it would be cat all the way. Because of their easygoing nature, playfulness and affinity for making you feel loved all the time makes them the best companion ever.

Friends tell me, What's your dream pet and what makes them so special to you? Let's share the love for our freinds and keep the conversation going.

Kitties have varied personalities and are wonderful pets. I've had lots of them over the years, both male and female. I have found that some females are as you describe and of course males too, but depending on the personality, I've found both male and female to be perhaps less friendly and territorial. It's truly dependent, I think, on their personality.

I am thankful for the two we have at the present time and can never see a time when I will be without one. Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day!
