SMAShing The Links!

Welcome everyone to Round 423 of the Show Me A Shadow or SMASh Contest hosted by @melinda010100. The Contest post can be found here. This is one of the more popular and longer running Contests in the blockchain and if you haven't heard of this yet, do check it out and perhaps join us in the fun of hunting shadows.

Last month I took a much needed vacation and went to Manila, Philippines with my wife and grandson. We stayed in a condominium unit owned by my wife's niece. The unit is on the 26th floor of a 34-floor building located in the Bonifacio Global City.

And right beside the building is an 18-hole golf course. It was about lunchtime when we checked in and when I looked out the window I couldn't help but stare in awe at the sprawling greens and fairways dotted with white sand traps and lined with so many trees. That was definitely a bird's eye view and it was amazing.

Suddenly, I noticed the shadows the trees were casting. As I always say, "Once a SMASher, always a SMASher." I immediately took out my cell phone and started taking pictures of the spectacle. I was actually looking down on the golf course which aggravated my fear of heights. The soles of my feet actually felt like it was being pricked by a thousand needles. There was this crazy tingling sensation starting from my calves to my hamstring that really made it quite difficult to calmly take pictures. But I didn't want to waste the opportunity so despite my anxiety I fired away with my cell phone camera.

Yes, this definitely is what you can call "SMAShing The Links." For my entry to this Round the photo below is it.
