SMAP 224 - Of Swans And Ducks

BIRD/S AND WATER
About 5 months ago, in SMAP 204 to be precise, I featured some ducks in a lake in Munich, Germany where my daughter is currently residing. For those who missed this or don't quite remember the post the link to it is here. The photos I showed and entered were all of ducks and their beautiful colors. However, there were a lot more photos of another feathered creature which I feature now.

See, a lake in Munich, Germany,
partially frozen in winter. It is located in the northern part of the English Garden. This lake was created in the late 18th century. According to my daughter the English Garden is only a 15 minute bus ride from her place. It is a popular spot for boating and walking and even ice skating in winter. Its surroundings provide a habitat for various birds, including swans.
