I was simply returning the love that user gave to me on the post below. I thought it was the nice thing to do considering the effort he/she made to give me that love and "good will" you mentioned above.
That user is free to do as they please of course, freedom for all, but others have the same freedom and I, for one, am more than willing to exercise my own freedom. I shall do so again as well.

I must believe that was a mistake. I doubt if Olga has ever intentionally given out a downvote in all her days on Hive! She is one of the kindest people I know.
I know you dont need the votes, but I will return the Hive that you lost and offer an apology from all of us at Shadow Hunters.
It's not about the vote-adjustment value at all, I couldn't care less about that; your vote given to "rectify my loss" speaks contrarily to your line above about "don't need the votes" and seems a hollow gesture; the word apology carries more weight and value, despite it being unnecessary.
I had thought the person themselves would comment and the situation would have been resolved [and probably reversed], but a lack of ownership on their part seems to have occurred and caused you to comment to me instead - I find that strange.
I'm certain you will hear from her when she is online next. She does a great job hosting the Reflection Contest and is very dependable, despite her busy personal life.

Dear @galenkp, please accept my sincere apology for what happened in a way that was completely incomprehensible to me. First of all, this all came as a huge surprise to me because I would never intentionally downvote anyone , it is against my character. If I didn't like something, I would write in comments, and I would not do it in harsh terms, believe me.
Secondly, I remember that your post, which I liked, and was sure I voted 100% UP for it, not down! I absolutely do not understand how it could happen!!!
I discovered the problem suddenly and only a few hours ago, otherwise I would have started to find out the reason of your downvoting earlier, and apologized to you immediately. Once again, I apologize to you for what happened. You cannot imagine how sorry I am.
