When the Ocean Tells Stories.

While traveling across the Great Ocean to meet Alva, the journey paused for cinematic exploration. Coastal ruins, towering waves, and submerged remnants of the Old World became the focus, turning a simple crossing into a visual story of beauty, danger, and quiet discovery.

And I'm sharing them for the Cinematic Shots

I was on my way to cross the Great Ocean to meet Alva, but the sheer beauty of the coast made me stop in my tracks. I decided to take a break from the mission and capture some shots for the current photo contest. This particular spot felt special, especially with the twin coconut trees framing the beach perfectly against the horizon.

The atmosphere was so serene that I couldn't resist playing around with the photo mode settings. I spent some time finding the perfect pose for Aloy, wanting her to look like she was actually taking in the view and enjoying a rare moment of peace before the journey ahead.

While exploring the shoreline, I noticed some trees behind me that caught the light in a very specific way. It gave off a chilling vibe that contrasted with the tropical beauty of the beach, so I had to make sure I captured that mood.

I began running toward some distant ruins along the shore, but I stopped dead when I saw a massive wave surging toward me. The scale of the ocean in this part of the world is intimidating, and watching the water crash against the ancient debris was a great sight.

At first glance, I thought it was an old school bus, but as I got closer, I realized it was actually a train that had been stuck there for centuries. It is incredible how the elements have reclaimed these machines over time.

I walked to the very edge of the train to get a better view. From there, I could saw skeletal ruins rising out of the middle of the ocean. The contrast between the deep blue water and the island like ruin was breathtaking.

In the distance, what looked like a tiny island caught my eye, though I quickly realized it was another submerged ruin. I started planning my route to get there, gauging the distance and the strength of the current. It looked like a long swim, but I was determined to see it up close.

The ocean waves were strong, pulling at Aloy as she paddled through the deep water, but I finally made it to the ruins. To celebrate reaching the isolated spot, I picked out a victorious pose for Aloy. She looked like a true explorer standing amidst the remnants of the Old World.

The peace didn't last long. As I began swimming toward the next beach to finally meet Alva, a Snapmaw spotted me and began a high-speed chase. Being in the water with one of those is terrifying since I was completely vulnerable.

I managed to trick the machine by diving deep and changing my direction suddenly. While I was underwater, I found myself surrounded by colorful fishes through the coral. Even in the middle of a life-or-death chase, the underwater world looked stunning.

I pushed forward and finally reached the shore on the other side. I didn't give the Snapmaw a single chance to engage me in a fight, as I knew the disadvantage of being in the water was too great. I stepped onto the sand, safe at last, and ready to continue my search for Alva.

The next post will be coming soon. Screenshots are my take from the game and I took the game logo that I used on the thumbnail picture from online.

SEE YOU.
