Three values that guide my life #251

Good afternoon ladies, and welcome to this week's contest.
This week poses an interesting question and topic.
In the current age of social media where there are millions of information and lifestyle that can influence our daily lives and decisions it's a great thing to have values that guides and informs the decisions we make on a daily basis. It's so easy to get lost in this current world but the steps we take to be true to ourselves are very important.

What are the values that guide my life?
Here are three of them.

1. Growth
   This is the easiest value that guides my life. I'm always on the path to learning and growing as a person. Whatever fuels my interest, I chase it for as long as I can. This is one of the reasons I have a few skills under my belt.
   After getting my bachelor's in Accounting, I went to cosmetology school for a year, I went ahead to brush up my tailoring skills, I took a mini course in pattern making. I took a six weeks class to learn how to make diffusers and room sprays.
   I'm always on the path to learn and grow as a person.

2. Integrity
   This is a value I had to grow to acquire. I use to be a person who lied to avoid uncomfortable situations and people. But the harder it got to keep remembering what it is I actually told a person, the more frustrated and stressed out I became.
   To free myself from the burden of recalling what it is I said or didn't say I decided to stick to the truth at all times. It doesn't always set you free though lol

3. My spirituality
   This is one of the hardest to follow through and it's quite obvious why.
   There's a lot of things to sway us from believing in a higher power. One of those things are the tragedies of life.
   There's so much evil in the world, so much. But there's good too.
   And there are principles that one can't ignore that is bound in spirituality like faith, hope and compassion towards others.
   There's so much beauty in the world that is evident of God's power and creativity, and if such exists then I choose to believe in a greater power that has an amazing plan for my life.
