I heard that the community is now in week #256 of showcasing the best of street art, and I would like to share with you some photographs of beautiful murals I found in the city of Lechería, which I will describe below:

Me enteré por allí, que ya la comunidad está en la semana #256 de mostrar lo mejor del arte callejero y bueno, quiero compartir con ustedes unas fotografías de unos hermosos murales que encontré en la ciudad de Lechería y que les describo a continuación:
It is all part of a national initiative called “city mural,” which consists of each city reclaiming spaces on walls to be decorated with images emblematic of the city.
It is an initiative that has had quite an impact, because people walk the streets of the historic district of Lechería looking for these paintings that reflect the culture of this area.
For example, the central image has the letters “LECHERÍA,” which is considered the tourist area par excellence of my state because of its beaches and sites similar to cities like Miami or Venice. However, it was not always like this, and there are still some areas that were founders of the city whose main activity is fishing and goat milk, hence its name, that is, a dairy city.
This area has undergone a process of gentrification (a term used to describe cities where the native population is displaced by modernization), but if we walk around or ask questions, we can still find good sales of fresh fish and milk in the city, all brought by the founders.

Todo forma parte de una iniciativa nacional que se llama "ciudad mural" y consiste en que cada ciudad, rescata espacios en las paredes para ser adornados con lo emblemático de la ciudad.
Es una iniciativa que ha tenido bastante alcance, porque las personas caminan las calles del casco histórico de Lechería buscando estas pinturas que refleja toda la cultura de esta zona.
Por ejemplo, la imagen central tiene las letras "LECHERÍA" que se considera la zona turística por excelencia de mi estado por sus playas y sitios semejantes a ciudades como Miami o Venecia. Sin embargo, ella no siempre fue así y todavía quedan algunas zonas que fueron fundadoras de la ciudad que principalmente su actividad es la pesca y las leches de las cabras, de allí su nombre, es decir, una ciudad lechera.
Esta zona ha sufrido un proceso de gentrificación (término para definir las ciudades donde son desplazados los nativos por la modernización), pero si caminamos o preguntamos, todavía podemos encontrar buenas ventas de pescado fresco y leche en la ciudad; todo traído por los fundadores.
I liked the next mural because it depicts the fisherman after a long day's work. For those who don't know, fishermen are guided by the moon, the tides, and the seasons, and they use different nets and hooks to catch the fruits of the sea. Sometimes the day can last all day under the harsh sun or in the darkness of night, in order to obtain the best fish and offer them to consumers.
The guitar also caught my attention because fishermen are certainly cheerful people, and they can accompany their work with music and some tunes typical of my city, called “galerones.” In these songs, they sing to the sea, to the Virgin of the Valley, and tell stories and legends related to their work.

El siguiente mural me gustó, porque refleja al pescador después de la larga faena de trabajo. Para el que no conoce, los pescadores se llevan por las lunas, las mareas, las temporadas y para poder adquirir el fruto del mar tienen distintas redes y anzuelos. A veces la jornada puede durar todo el día bajo el inclemente sol o con la penumbra de la noche, para poder obtener los mejores pescados y ofrecerlos al consumidor.
También, llamó mi atención la guitarra, porque ciertamente el pescador es alegre, su faena la puede acompañar de música y algunas tonadas propias de mi ciudad, llamada "galerones". En esas canciones, le cantan al mar, a la Virgen del Valle y cuentan historias/leyendas propias de esta faena.
As I mentioned in the previous photograph, the sea holds its secrets. I believe that fishing is one of the most risky, mathematical, and economic professions, and I could list other sciences that are put into practice to ensure that the seafood we eat is of the highest quality.
This mural reflects the passivity with which they live, the sea, their work tools such as nets and boats, and their houses near the beach, because when the men arrive with the fish, the women take care of cleaning them. It is a family business that has been passed down from generation to generation:

Lo que les comentaba en la fotografía anterior, el mar encierra sus secretos. Creo que el trabajo de pescador es uno de los más arriesgados, matemáticos, económicos y podría enumerar otras ciencias que ponen en práctica para que esos frutos del mar que nos comemos, sean los mejores.
Este mural refleja la pasividad con la que viven, el mar, sus instrumentos de trabajo como las redes y el barco y sus casas cercanas a la playa, porque allí cuando llegan los hombres con el pescado, las mujeres se encargan de limpiarlos. Es un negocio familiar que pasa de generaciones en generaciones:
This mural is beautiful (ignore the trash bags 🙃) because they made a character who is well known in Lechería for selling ice cream. I don't know any more details, but I think it's nice that they not only highlighted the natural attributes but also the people who, with such kindness and simplicity, serve locals and visitors alike.
You can still enjoy delicious ice cream in coconut shells, which is another fruit offered in Lechería due to the high temperatures and proximity to the sea:

Este mural es hermoso (obvien las bolsas de basura 🙃) porque hicieron a un personaje que es muy conocido en Lechería por su venta de helados. No sé mas detalles, pero me parece bonito que no solo resaltaran los atributos naturales sino a las personas que con tanta amabilidad y sencillez, atienden a los propios y visitantes.
Aún se pueden comer unos ricos helados en conchas de coco, que es otro de los frutos que ofrecen en Lechería debido a las elevadas temperaturas y la cercanía con el mar:
In conclusion, I liked all of them because they reflect what the CITY OF DAIRY is, from its beginnings, its culture, what makes it unique, and how it has remained so over time. On the other hand, the buildings in the background provide a spectacular contrast, because they reflect where we are headed in this city that promises to become a national benchmark:

En conclusión, todos me gustaron porque reflejan lo que es la CIUDAD DE LECHERÍA, desde sus inicios, su cultura, lo que la hace única y como se mantiene con el paso del tiempo. Por otro lado, los edificios al fondo, hacen un contraste espectacular, porque refleja hacia donde vamos en esa ciudad que promete convertirse en referente nacional:
