On a day we owed ourselves, my friend and I went out early to walk the streets of the city, looking for some things we needed for our closets.

We live in a climate with high temperatures, so we always have to stay hydrated to avoid fainting 😇.

En un día que nos debíamos, mi amiga y yo salimos temprano a recorrer las calles de la ciudad, buscando algunas cosas que nos hacían falta en nuestro clóset.
Vivimos en un clima con temperaturas elevadas, así que siempre debemos mantenernos hidratadas para que no tener algún tipo de desmayo 😇.

Menos mal que mi amiga y yo no necesitamos excusas para ir por unas buenas cervezas, pero ciertamente esta era una ocasión especial:

🍻 Teníamos mucho tiempo sin vernos, así que teníamos que celebrar.

🍻 Las veces que nos vimos fue por enfermedad o algo relacionado con el trabajo; cosas de gente mayor.

🍻 En mi cumpleaños no estuvo presente, así que era un buen momento para cantar cumpleaños.

🍻 Estamos despidiendo noviembre y todo lo bonito que fue.

🍻 Le dimos la bienvenida a diciembre, deseando todo lo bonito y que podamos disfrutar de estas fiestas al lado de nuestros seres queridos.

🍻 Hacía mucho calor.

🍻 Porque ¡LAS MERECEMOS! 😁

Luckily, my friend and I don't need excuses to go out for a few beers, but this was certainly a special occasion:

🍻 We hadn't seen each other in a long time, so we had to celebrate.

🍻 The times we did see each other were because of illness or something work-related; grown-up stuff.

🍻 She wasn't there for my birthday, so it was a good time to sing happy birthday.

🍻 We are saying goodbye to November and all the beautiful things it brought.

🍻 We welcomed December, wishing for all the best and hoping we can enjoy the holidays with our loved ones.

🍻 It was very hot.

🍻 Because WE DESERVE IT! 😁

The brand of beer sold at the bar was Polar in its different varieties. When it comes to refreshing myself and something that makes me say “AHHH!” at the end, I always choose my Polar Light. Smooth, refreshing, almost imperceptible, the taste, its light color, it is the perfect companion for these days when the sun is relentless.

My friend likes strong-flavored beers, so she ordered a classic Solera, or as it's known here, “the green solera.” This beer has 6% alcohol content 😬 compared to Polar Light, which has 4% alcohol content. Wow! You might say that's not much difference, but when you go “for more than one,” it makes a difference 😉.

La marca de cerveza que vendían en el local era Polar en sus diferentes presentaciones. Cuando se habla de refrescarme y algo que me haga decir al final ¡AHHH! Siempre elijo mi polar light. Suave, refrescante, casi imperceptible, el sabor, su color claro, es el acompañante perfecto para estos días donde el sol no da tregua.
Mi amiga es de cervezas con sabores fuertes, por eso ella pidió una solera clásica, o como se conoce aquí, "la solera verde". Esta cerveza tiene 6º alcohólicos 😬 en comparación con la polar light, que cuenta con 4% de contenido etílico ¡Guao! Quizás dirán que no es mucha la diferencia, pero cuando vas "por más de una", influye 😉.

It should be noted that this difference did not affect our enjoyment of spending time together. Besides, they were very cold, so we ordered more than one to enjoy our girls' night out.

Time spent with friends fills us with life, and when accompanied by cold beers, it becomes another memory to treasure.

Es de aclarar que, esta diferencia no influyó en pasarla bien, compartir un rato, además, estaban bien frías, por lo que pedimos más de una, para disfrutar amenamente nuestra salida de chicas.
El tiempo entre amigas nos llena de vida y si la acompañamos de unas cervezas frías, se convierte en otro recuerdo que atesorar.
