1️⃣Collecting things
I have never really been into collecting things, and to be honest, I don’t even have a collection to show off. It is not because I dislike the idea, but more because I never had the chance to start one. Collecting requires a little space, some patience, and sometimes even a bit of money to keep it going. Unfortunately, I don’t have a place where I can store such things, so I quietly admire from the side whenever I see people with neatly arranged collections.

I have seen friends gather coins, books from different writers, and other stuffs. Some people collect shoes, wristwatches, and even bottle covers, and it amazes me how much joy it brings them. The way they proudly show them off always makes me admire the discipline and patience behind it. Collecting is not just about gathering objects but also about cherishing memories, stories, and history tied to each item.

Even though I don’t collect, I always imagine that if one day I had the chance, I might start with something small like books or key holders, since both can be fun, light, and easy to keep.

2️⃣ First Dessert / Sweet Recipe

The very first recipe I learned to prepare was egg sauce served with ripe plantain. It is a simple dish, but to me, it has always felt like a sweet treat. The memory of learning it is still fresh in my mind because I was both excited and nervous at the same time. I wanted to try something on my own in the kitchen without making a mess, and egg sauce with plantain became my perfect starting point.

The process was quite easy. I started by peeling ripe plantains, slicing them, and boiling them until they were properly cooked. The sight of it alone could brighten up a dull day. Then came the egg sauce part. I cracked eggs into a bowl, beat them lightly, and set them aside. In a pan, I fried onions, tomatoes, and peppers until the aroma filled the kitchen. After adding the eggs and stirring gently, the mixture turned into a colorful, mouthwatering sauce.

Eating it with boiled plantain was like a celebration in itself. The blend of the sweet plantain and the savory egg sauce made it unforgettable. From that moment, the dish became my favorite, and until today, it remains a recipe I prepare with pride and joy.

3️⃣ Scholarship Dream
If I ever had the opportunity to win a scholarship to study something new, my choice would definitely be medicine and surgery. The reason being that I have always admired the medical field and the people who dedicate their lives to saving others. Each time I see doctors and nurses in action, either on television or in real life, I feel a deep sense of respect for them. Their courage, knowledge, and sacrifice inspire me.

Medicine is not just a career to me, but a calling. I love the thought of being able to touch lives directly. Imagine being able to ease someone’s pain, bring hope to a worried family, or even save a life that was almost slipping away. These are things that push me towards wanting to study medicine and surgery.

Another reason is the curiosity I have about the human body. I often wonder how the heart beats tirelessly, how the brain controls everything, and how tiny cells make up the complex system that keeps us alive. Learning medicine would satisfy that curiosity while also equipping me with the skills to make a real difference.

I know the road to becoming a medical doctor is not an easy one, but with a scholarship, I would grab the opportunity with both hands and dedicate myself fully to it. My dream is to be part of that noble profession where helping people is the greatest reward.
