In this round 150 of the PhotoFeed: Black and White Photography contest.
I am sharing a photo of a young child with a kitten as the main subject. In the image, the child is holding the kitten by gently gripping its neck with both hands.

At first glance, it may appear as if the kitten is in discomfort, but in reality, it is not. The child is simply expressing affection, even though they have not yet learned the proper way to hold an animal. The child then brings the kitten inside the house to feed it. The kitten eats eagerly, accompanied by the child who stays close by.
Black-and-white photography may appear simple, yet it is incredibly challenging. The photographer must convey meaning and emotion clearly, allowing viewers to interpret and feel the story behind the image.
This photo was taken at a friend’s house using the camera on my mobile phone.
