Photofeed contest round 146 macro photography : The flower of Jarak Bali

avatar

Hello everyone Hello photography lovers 📷🤍 Hello also to the @photofeed community leaders
In this round 146 of the PhotoFeed: Macro Photography contest. I’d like to share a photo of a flower from a Jarak Bali plant that happens to be growing in front of my boarding house.

Since Bandung is in the middle of the rainy season and I can’t go out to shoot plants or tiny creatures, I’ve been making the most of my prosumer camera with a 35x optical zoom to capture small subjects from a distance.
And this is the result.

I took the photo while it was still drizzling, from the terrace of my place.

Note: (I took this photo using my prosumer camera sony DSC-H300 with 35 optical zoom)

Rain offers new ways of seeing the objects around us. You did a good job practising your photography. It's the first time I've seen that flower. Is it very common where you live? It has a peculiar shape.
I recommend commenting on other users posts to expand your network, don´t forget the social aspect of your blog.

Thank you so much! 😊
Yes, this flower actually grows quite often around where I live, but many people don’t notice it because the plant is usually small and blends in with the greenery. The rain helped bring out its details, that’s why I tried capturing it from a distance.

And thank you for the advice I’ll try to interact more with other users. I appreciate your kind words! 🙏

So you did a good detective work to find them, haha. I love macro pics, there’s a ton of beautiful things hidden in front of our eyes.
