In this round 141 of the PhotoFeed: Macro Photography contest:
I wanted to share a photo of a tiny insect only about 1.5 cm long but surprisingly aggressive when I tried to get close to its nest for a picture.

It’s a paper wasp, and it built its nest on one of the plants in front of my boarding house.
I captured this shot just as the rain had started to ease.
They look striking as they guard their nest from anything they see as a threat.
