What do I see?

I see a girl sitting on the stairs, putting her face down and there is a school bag beside her.

What do I feel?

I feel the girl is sad, that is why she is putting her face down. She might be crying because someone has said something to her that hurt her.

The story

Helena has always been a quiet girl and she always tops her classmates whenever there is a competition and this makes her classmates jealous of her . Because of their attitude towards her, she likes being on her own but she has a friend who cherished her so well.

One day, while in school, she was writing her note when three of her classmates walked up to her and started bullying her verbally but she did not respond except for her friend Sarah who was with her that time intervened for her.

She could not do anything about it because she did not have the courage to face them. All she did was run out of the class to the stairs and started crying.

Her friend Sarah followed her and was trying to console her. “Helena you can't continue like this, try and stand up for yourself because if you don't, they will always make you cry.”

“They know I don't like trouble, that is why they keep bullying me.”

“You have to try, crying will not solve the issue here but standing up for yourself will.”

“Thank you Sarah for standing up for me. I will try because it is not all the time you will be there for me.”

After Sarah consoled her, she wiped her eyes and went back to class. From that day, Helena decided in her mind that she will never allow anyone to bully her again.
