Всем привет!	Hello everyone!
Поездка в Псковскую область в августе 2023 года началась с посещения замечательного небольшого города Себеж. Он расположен на берегу большого Себежского озера, которым нам удалось полюбоваться с разных точек.	Our August 2023 trip to the Pskov Region began with a visit to the wonderful small town of Sebezh. It is located on the shores of the large Lake Sebezhkoye, which we admired from various vantage points.
Эта фотография представляет Себежское озеро с уровня воды. В нашу экскурсию входила водная прогулка по озеру на старинных парусных лодках – ялах.	This photo shows Lake Sebezhkoye from water level. Our excursion included a boat ride on the lake in old sailing boats called yawls.
Мы с половиной группы находимся на такой же лодке, которая видна на фотографии. Я первый раз каталась на паруснике, было очень интересно. Мы с удовольствием полюбовались великолепным озером с низкой лодки, когда вода совсем рядом.	Half of the group and I are on the same type of boat seen in the photo. It was my first time on a sailboat, and it was very interesting. We enjoyed admiring the magnificent lake from the low boat, with the water so close.

А это вид на Себежское озеро с высокого берега. Напротив нас замковый полуостров с сохранившейся на нём колокольней – визитной карточкой Себежа.

And this is a view of Lake Sebezhkoye from the high bank. Opposite us is the castle peninsula with its preserved bell tower—Sebezh's signature landmark.

А вот и вид на озеро с той самой колокольни собора Рождества Христова. Сам собор, к сожалению, не сохранился. А на колокольню можно подняться и насладиться открывающимся видом.	And here is the view of the lake from the very same bell tower of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ. The cathedral itself, unfortunately, has not survived. You can climb the bell tower and enjoy the view.
Озеро занимает площадь около 16 квадратных километров. Но берега извилистые, в озеро выступают мысы, есть острова.	The lake covers an area of approximately 16 square kilometers. But the shores are winding, capes jut out into the lake, and there are islands.
